"Sherry, Julie, and Raye-Raye got caught. What's stopping them from catching me at it?" asked Heather.

Josh stood. "Us." He said confidently. The other two nodded and also stood. "They arent master pranksters like us!" Zach chimed in. "Seriously!" Lynn added, pulling Heather to her feet.

"Hey!" barked Heather as she let both Lynn and Josh push her out of the door. Zach followed them with his hands jammed in his pockets looking at the ceiling.

"Hey," Lynn waved, giggling, then, once they spotted Filch around the corner, pull out a dungbomb from her pocket. Josh took it, then handed it to Heather. "Ok," Josh explained. "Just aim and shoot!"

Heather shot them an angry glance before she let her arm fly loose. The dungbomb cacascaded a bit before it hit Filch clean in the head. He growled and turned around cursing every Englishmen curse that existed and a few he made up himself.

Lynn laughed loudly, plain and clear for Filch to hear. But the next second, she, along with the other three, were dashing away wildly.

Once they reentered the common room, Heather collapsed onto a couch, still glaring at them....yet she had to admit that that was fun...

"Whose turn is it now?" asked Heather as she brushed unnescessary sweat away from her eyes. They made her bangs stick to her face.

Heather spun the wand and watched it twirl around very fast. Instinctively as if one cue it landed on . . . Zach.

Lynn burst out in laughter for no reason. "Ok ok! Truth or dare!?" She asked, leaning forward. "Truth," He repkied. She sat back, frowning. "Aw, you're no fun!"

"You make up the question," Heather pointed out as she leaned back against the sofa in front of the warm fireplace. The flames trickled upward as if they clung onto life.

Lynn stuck out her tongue. "Ok....Zach, who did you have a crush on last year?" Lynn knew the answer, but the others didn't. Zach sent Lynn a furious look, then quietly mumbled, "Gina Maosky..." They burst out laughing. Gina was a professor. Sure, she was pretty, but the whole idea of crushing on a proffessor was funny!

"You liked her? She is so strict. Also, last year I could swear that she was out to get me!" snarled Josh. "Every other evening I had detention for stuff I didn't even do. She likes those Hufflepuffs better, you know. Them Hufflepuffs gets As even when they slack off. That teacher is definantly loopy!"

Lynn pushed Josh back, defending Zach. "Back off! It was an innocent crush! Jeez!" She snapped, and recieved a glare from Josh. She could feel the tensity (is that even a word...?) throughout the group, and decided to quit the game. "Besides, it's kinda late, tomarrows the dance! I still dont know how to do my hair!" With that, Lynn rushed up to their dorms and slammed the dorr shut.

"I'll um. . . study for potions," said Heather. She knew that was a very lame excuse but it worked as the group broke off into different directions. She spyed that both the boys headed upstairs and one didn't look to happy. She watched their expressions intently for several minutes before she stared blindly at the fire.

Lynn changed into her pajamas quickly, then, after peeking out to see if the boys were gone, emerged back in the common room. "Hiya Heather!" She said cheerfully, as if nothing wronge had happened.

"Hi! I'm just catching up on some last minute studying unlike some people," said Heather teasingly. Her smile was fake but the look that she sent her friend was truly sympathetic.

Lynn grumbled and shrugged. "Yeah, and i'm looking forward to the fun we'll have tomarrow, unlike some people!" She sent it right back, also teasingly.

"Hey!" said Heather before she ruffled her friend's hair. "You like that hairstyle I just did for you? I can do it for you at the dance."

Lynn shrieked. "My hair! You-!" She started, and rumpled her hair, the war had begun!

Heather rumpled her own back. "It's a special price for the hair if it is nicely done." She gave a devilish like grin.

Lynn let out a cry of frustration, conjured up a brush, and started to fiw her hair. "Thanks!" She said sacastically.
