Jame clenched his fists tightly, speeding after. James' legs were a bit stronger since he was an 'athlete' you could say, and soon Snape was only about 10 yards ahead. He pointed his wand at Snape's back. "Stupefy!"
Snape towered over, a small 'thud' emitting around them as he hit the stone floor. "Accio book," He then muttered, snatching it back. "Next time, you'll be in the hospital wing for a month at the least," He threatened sharply, glaring down at the pathetic form of a human being.
And with that, the Gryffindor stalked off, very, VERY p.o.ed.
Lydia growled as she stormed by the two muttering something about bloody @ssholes. She was extremely p*ssed at Potter. She had heard about the fight. She knew Lily had lied about Remus. he wasn't in the medwing and she couldn't even give him a present. The nurse wouldn't let her.
Lydia walked down the halls. She had given up on both James and Lily. Neither one ever spoke to her since Remus disappeared, so it was obvious she was being ignored. Wondering down to the dungeons, she looked for Lucius or Severus.
"Potter, its hard saying goddbye to my friends but I gotta go. There's no question. As soon as I leave the Ministry will have me slienced and my memory. I'll just be another muggle to you," she repiled. Hot tears streamed down her face. She felt sad for Remus as he lay shivering in the Hospital Wing. His fever hadn't passed and it had gotten her worried. Now she would never know about it.
James always sucked at comforting people and he knew it. He bit his lip, trying to convince her. Finally the boy chose a good thing to say, at least something he THOUGHT might work.
"Well, even if you do become just a muggle, you'l still...er...be my Evans?" He said, confused by his own words. Hopefully it made more sense to her.
James slumped onto a chair. His one chance...he blew it.
After a minute of thinking, Potter came up with a desicion. Dashing up to this dorm, he grabbed his sleek new broow, pushed the window open, and glided out. The fresh air hit his face with a blast, calming him. Jame flew, soon over the forbidden forest...
