James put on his best 'Your-in-for-it-now' smirk, staring at Snively.

"Come to mock me, eh Potter? About...." he looked away.

James felt he should kow something. "About what, Snape." He said, in a sickeningly pleasant voice.

"You don't know?" said Snape.
"You'll find out soon enough."

In any case, James was about to pull out his trusty old wand. But, amazing enough, he did not. He needed to do more important things, not waste his time with this loser. James walked off in search of Lily.

"Accio book." said Snape.
Thew diary flew into his hands, and he ran like the wind-he was gone before Potter had a chance to look back at him.

Jame clenched his fists tightly, speeding after. James' legs were a bit stronger since he was an 'athlete' you could say, and soon Snape was only about 10 yards ahead. He pointed his wand at Snape's back. "Stupefy!"

Snape towered over, a small 'thud' emitting around them as he hit the stone floor. "Accio book," He then muttered, snatching it back. "Next time, you'll be in the hospital wing for a month at the least," He threatened sharply, glaring down at the pathetic form of a human being.

And with that, the Gryffindor stalked off, very, VERY p.o.ed.

Snape recovered, and said, "Accio Pants!"
Potter's leg came up from beneath him, and his pants flew off-and snape was nowhere to be found.

"Accio greasball!" He said loudly as he stuffed his pants back on. With the flick of his wand Snape was sent flying into a wall, knocking him out. "Git,"

A minute or so later James arrived at his common room, waiting for Evans.

~😛 😈~
Snape awoke several hours later, and he went back to the Slytherin Common Room.

Evans had gathered her books and belongings into her trunk. She soon came down to the common room to leave her bag there so she could leave in the morning.

James looked up as Lily came down. He stood, handing her her diary. Clearing his throat, James stared down at her.

"Evans, you can't leave just cause-" He stopped. He was going to say, "Just cuz your dad kicked the bucket." But he deflated his head. "Just cause no one understands."

Lydia growled as she stormed by the two muttering something about bloody @ssholes. She was extremely p*ssed at Potter. She had heard about the fight. She knew Lily had lied about Remus. he wasn't in the medwing and she couldn't even give him a present. The nurse wouldn't let her.

Lydia walked down the halls. She had given up on both James and Lily. Neither one ever spoke to her since Remus disappeared, so it was obvious she was being ignored. Wondering down to the dungeons, she looked for Lucius or Severus.

"Potter, its hard saying goddbye to my friends but I gotta go. There's no question. As soon as I leave the Ministry will have me slienced and my memory. I'll just be another muggle to you," she repiled. Hot tears streamed down her face. She felt sad for Remus as he lay shivering in the Hospital Wing. His fever hadn't passed and it had gotten her worried. Now she would never know about it.

James always sucked at comforting people and he knew it. He bit his lip, trying to convince her. Finally the boy chose a good thing to say, at least something he THOUGHT might work.

"Well, even if you do become just a muggle, you'l still...er...be my Evans?" He said, confused by his own words. Hopefully it made more sense to her.

"I'm not yours Potter," retorted Lily. She dashed up the wooden staircase to the girls once more. Not daring to look back to Potter or his saddened look.

James slumped onto a chair. His one chance...he blew it.

After a minute of thinking, Potter came up with a desicion. Dashing up to this dorm, he grabbed his sleek new broow, pushed the window open, and glided out. The fresh air hit his face with a blast, calming him. Jame flew, soon over the forbidden forest...

She screamed out all of her thoughts into her pillow.

James looked about to make sure no one saw. He didnt think anyone did...Slowly the confused boy started slowly lowing into the forest.
