The Marauders

"What is it?" Rhemus said not looking at Lydia.

L:ydia bit her lip. She reached up and gently turned his face so he would look at her. "I'm so sorry. I should have known you couldn't be p*ssed at me. I understand if you hate me and never want to speak to me again, but I have to let you know, Remus Lupin I love you." she said kissing him gently on the lips. "I know I can never make it up to, but I'll try." she said tears threatening to spill forth. "I'll leave you alone now. I don't want to bother you with my stupidness."

"Wait, Lydia I want to say sorry for that well I got pissed at you when I found out you kissed Snape" answered Lupin.

Lydia smiled. "You had every right, Remmy."

Rhemus smiled and said "So ill be seeing you tonight at 8"

Lydia stood mouth agaped. "Y. . .You still want to go out. . .with me?" she asked in disbelief. Her voice cracked. "Of course."

Rhemus smiled.

Lydia kissed him again. "Thanks for everything, Remmy. You are my reason for living." she whispered.

Rhemus looked at his schedule and realised "Ohh damn its potions lessons" he said as he said bye to Lydia and ran for the dungeons.

Lydia waved as she watched him leave. A smile crept across her face. Something very rare. She felt like every step she took that she would fall. Her knees were wobbly. He had forgiven her!!!

After potions lessons Rhemus left the dungens and awaited today for Lydia's date.

Lydia walked down the halls happily. She'd come close to skipping many times. She smiled as she spotted Remus. "Hey, Remmy." she greets.

"Hey" said RHemus smiling.

"So how'd potions go?" she asks. "the professor can be hard sometimes.

"Yeah.... He just had to think of a reason to take points off...." replied RHemus.

Lydia shrugged. "At least he notices you." she comments dryly.

"So have you seen James or Lilly?" asked RHemus.
