Lydia pulls back breathless. She just stares into Remus's eyes.

"I thought we already went over this!" He said, laughing. "Um, 1st year, of course,"

"Fine Potter, I guess I can stop running from you," said Lily.

His jaw nearly dropped. "ARE YOU SERIOUS!!?" He yelled, gaining questioning stares.

Rhemus stared back at Lydias eyes.

Lydia smiled. "remmy, i am sorry for ever hurting you." she whispered hanging her head. She wasn't worth it. remus deserved someone better.

"I'm serious, Potter. Am I never?" asked Lily. She raised an eyebrow at him and she gave him a smile. The first one he ever got from her.

Rhemus laughed a little "Hey as I said, I forgive you" he said in a friendly voice.

James jumped to his feet. "THIS CALLS FOR A CELEBRATION!!" He called out, overjoyed. He grabbed hold of Lily's hand and pulled her out of the shop.

Lydia gave Remus a small smile. "I know, but I still fill like a filthy trollop."

"You can make it up for me by paying for the dinner tommorow" said Rhemus.

Lydia laughed. "Okay, deal." she says hugging remus and kissing him deeply.

Rhemus smiled.

"Don't go too overboard, Potter," said Lily with a luagh. People up and down the street looked at the couple with questioning glances.

James accepted these strang looks with open arms. Who cared? "Will do!" He said.

"You better," said Lily as she leaned her head on James' shoulder. Some people's mouths hung open.

...Including his own mouth. But inside, he did a victory dance. It would definatly be the talk of the...next few weeks, though. James, most popular boy in school...going out with Lily, most popular girl in school.

"Where to?" He asked with excitement.

"The candy shop. I want something to sweeten me up," said Lily. Wrapping her right arm around James she gave the gaping people a great smile.

James placed his arm around her waist as they strolled towards the candy shop. He STILL was not able to believe her sudden change of heart towards him!

"What's wrong James?" asked Lily as she snuggled closer to him. Brushing away a strand of red hair away from her face with her free hand she gazed at him.
