LYdia yawned. She had somehow managed to walk past all five without them noticing. She stood in between Snape and James. "Stop it you poor excuse for wizards." This comment was more or less directed to Snape and Lucius. "I agree with Severus, I am sick of this bickering."

James' eye twitched at Snapes comment about Lily. "You dirty little-" He raised his wand, but began to lower it as Lydia stepped between them. "Outta the way, Lydia dear. I need to teach here Snape a lesson or two."

"James Potter, i would e ashamed to lower myself to the level of where it seems my intellegence can serve no purpose and I have to use brute strength. Please, I beg of you to stop this ridiculous feud. I'm not moving." Lydia's eyes were starting to fill with tears. James was her best friend and she didn't want him to go looking for trouble.

James' shoulders slumped and he groaned, lowering his wand into his pocket. "Man, 'Dia, you sure do take the fun out of things..." He muttered, glancing evilly at Snape while Lydia wasn't watching.

((Gotta go now. Bye! 😊 ))

((Me too))

Lydia smiled and quickly hugged James. "Thanks." she said before nodding to Lily. She turned to face Snape. "And you Mr. Snape. Will you degrade yourself to such a weak postion that you would have to attack an unarmed opponent?"

Snape scowled at Lydia.
"Did I ask, for YOUR assistance? Back off, unless you have some brain in that thick skull Lydia," said Snape mockingly.
"'Oh Remus....'" he said laughing.

Lydia's eyes narrowed. She glanced once at her cousin before turning around and punching Snape in the nose. "I wasn't doing it for you, you astard. I was trying to save myself the headache." she growled. She stood waiting for him to hit her back.

Snape glared at her.
"You still have a chance to see the light, and turn from the mudbloods." he laughed.

Lydia blushed. She wasn't really standing up for Lilly. It was just for James and Remus. "Uh, er, um."

"Shes not like you Snape, Shes not heartless, Stupid, or officialy obsessed with dark arts!" answered Rhemus for Lydia.

Lydia blushed a deep red and gave Snape apologetic glance. "Well the heartless part maybe." she said softly.

"Come Lydia. Join us. The mudbloods will pay for their brainwashing of you!" said Snape evily.

Remus looked crossly at Snape.

"severus." Lydia groaned half smiling. "You know Ms. Evans couldn't brainwash me." she was joking.

James' blood boiled as snape mentioned the word mudblood. "You dirty son of a-" He muttered, drawing his wand once more.

Lydia groaned. "James!" she frowned. "Severus!" she scolded. "Look, I don't care anymore. You both can duel to the death but I'll still be BOTH your friends." she moved to Remus. "Can we go?"

"Then you must die." he said with a look of pain on his face.
He raised his wand-stopped.
"Lord....he was right:
I am as yet too weak to cause you death, mudblood and friends. Soon enough, however, you will all die."
He walked away silently.

"Ergh... Lord?" said Remus looking crossly at Snape

Lydia giggles softly. "Thanks Snape!" she calls as she leads Remus away. "Let's go for a walk or something."

James glared with anger at Snapes' retreating figure. He growled in frustration. Lily looked pretty darn angry too, with James.

"If you're done making a fool outta yourself..." she muttered, recieving a less hatred filled glare. "then lets go." James didn't, however, argue. The two began the other direction, and Lily aughed, rumpling his already messy hair.
