hi, i'm new, hope you forgive me for busting in 🙂. since umbridge is gone do you think the new character could be the new defense against the dark arts teacher and could the clue behind the door be about him? what do y'all think?

i'm new and just posted my first message (first after intro) on the jkr thread. i have to agree that it's possible/likely that that clue refers to the new dada's teacher. but i doubt the dada teacher is the half blood prince (although everything is possible) cause i like to believe that she at least mentioned him (hbp) in one of the other books .

That new character, McClaggan, could definately be the new Defense Against the dark Arts teacher, and that clue could be about him. But that clue could be someone else though couldn't it? he sounds like the heir of Gryffindo to me xx

The door is open!!! You don't have to do things to open the door, the door just opens.... ocasionally. Right now its open but I don't know what to do next... it's just black. Any ideas?

no, she definitly has never mentioned the words hbp in any of her books, but what i meant is that we might have known that character all along. could be one of the many halfbloods that go to hogwarts and who's name she's mentioned. but i really have no clue who it could be so i have to say that you're probably right that the hbp is a totally new character.
