Each to their own is what I say, if it floats your boat to spend a lot of time grooming then thats fine.
For me I just like to make sure I look at half presentable and dont smell bad. If I'm going out somewhere like on a date or out for a meal I'll probably put some nice aftershave on otherwise what you see is what you get - usually at least 2-3 days stubble and casual clothes. 😎
