While Evan was eating, he thought about whether he should go find Tanya and Storm or just abandon them. On the one hand, it would be a lot easier without them. On the other hand, he was experiencing something he had rarely felt before... Sympathy. He felt sorry for them. He hated it, and it confused him.
Tanya looked back at Storm. "Call it instinct." she said through gritted teeth as she got up. "Look, man, you can stay here or you can go with me to get Evan. I don't give a sh!t either way except you must know. IF YOU BECOME ANY SORT OF INCONVENIENCE TO ME I"LL CUT YOUR LIFE SHORT. That's not a threat but a promise." she told him as she turned and walked in at a brisk pace towards a small gas station.
Tanya sighed as she walked into dhe store. She walked to the back of the store slowly and got a water. Walking up the counter she saw a flash of blue uniform approaching the store. the police she thought as her eyes widened. "Keep the water." she said heading into the bathroom and locking the door. Now all she needed to do was escape.
Evan had been watching from the diner, which was across the street from the convenience store. He had an idea. He knew he could probably save Tanya and Storm, but he wasn't sure he wanted to risk being caught... He went back and forth for a few minutes. "Screw it," he finally said.
Evan stood up, took a deep breath, and walked into the store. The cops didn't notice him at first. He stuck his right hand inside his long trenchcoat and jumped on the counter. The clerk nearly fell over backwards. That got their attention. "This is a robbery," he said as loud as he could, hoping Tanya could hear him from inside the bathroom. "Hand me your goddamn money and I won't shoot you!" The cops all pulled out their weapons and ran across the room.
Storm could barely make out what Evan was saying but he heard them.He quickly took out a pen and paper and wrote a note.Storm would have no problem getting out since the cops knew who he was.Storm carefully opened the door and walked out cautiously faking it so Evan wouldnt get suspicious. He walked by the chief slipped the note in his pocket indistintvly and walked out.
The note was telling them to keep following until they where weak enough to ambush.
"Drop your weapon!", the cops yelled, pointing their handguns at the dark figure on the counter. Evan smirked a little, waited to be sure Tanya and Storm were in the clear. When he was sure they were safe, he jumped down from the counter and pulled his hand out of his coat, showing the police he didn't have a gun.
"Reckon you just got punk'd, b!tches," Evan said before bolting away.
