Are Children Growing Up Too Fast?

1st yes he does, that movie was very good 😄

2nd Few days ago, I saw something disturbing, I was at a restaurant with my parents have dinner, so I excuse myself to use the bathroom, in it, there were 2 girls, ages 13-14, buying condoms from the dispenser 🙄

I think children have a mixed vision of sex. Their parents teach them one thing, wait till you're ready and all that, then there's the media cramming it down our throats. I was looking through teen magazines, some of the ads look like pornographic images, ads for clothing mind you 😛

So these little teenagers think it's something that makes you cool when you do it, so they rush out and try to act all grown up by choosing to have sex at an early age, because lately there's nowhere to go to escape the sex hype ❌

These kids need to see the movie "kids". That will scare them straight.

Unintelligent would be the opposite of intelligent. Intelligent meaning smart, educated, brainy, bright, smart, knowing, knowledgeable.

So the opposite of that would be uneducated, ignorant, and/or untaught, correct? When you are ignorant, uneducated, or unlearned, you make unintelligent choices.

It all goes back to knowledge folks, which in this instance, stems almost entirely from communication.

That is entirely true. Really, the only way to try and combate that is for parents to be vigilant, and really talk with them about all aspects of it. (Not just the birds & the bees "this is how babies are made" stuff.)

Well I don't know if that's good but at least it shows that all countries don't share America's puritanism...

we got new ratings after the kids was shown and what used to be pg 13 is now 15 without the pg 😄 and no it wasnt the cut version. Schools attended the flick too and to be honost Sweden have produced flicks like this for ages, really never understood the fuzz around Kids

lol i tottally think Britney Spears has alot to do with it....Has anyone seen that concert of hers on tv lately its been on a few times? i was dicusted. she was singing about masterbation and had dancers doing modern dance on stage in a bed and she was in a bath tub all making it look like they were masterbating. Then right after she had a song about sex and had lesbians and gays(which there is nothing wrong with) and in the song her and this guy were on a bed hardly wearing anything doing very sexual dances....All i could think about was how many little girls were in the audience watching this...

Is it the growing up/maturing of kids what needs to be combated? I don't think so. I have grown up and matured yet I have not gone out and got wasted and got on drugs or f*cked every female I see and what not. I was raised with a more or less accurate depiction of right and wrong but some of the things my parents thing I disagree with. So from the second I could, I started making my own decisions and opinions.

It's how to use how you were raised to either:

A) Your advantage if you had good parents.

or

B) Ignore it if it was all bad and make your own conscious decision to do what's right.

If you choose to go and be a slut regardless you deserve all you get.

Precisely. It's like warnings before WWE Raw comes on TV (Wrestling). They say "This show may contain images and scenes unsuitable for younger children". I guarantee the first thing parents do is "Awww it's only wrestling, how bad can it be?". Then when Todd goes into the playground and gives a boy/girl a powerbomb, snapping their neck, the parents wanna moan. The warnings are there and you take heed or you ignore them.

Statistics show that most of the fans are teenagers to adults now.

I don't believe anyone who watches it believes it's real.

Nevertheless, the only parts factually "fake" are the stories and obvious blatant things like punching.

When they bleed it's not fake blood and regardless of what it's made out of I'd not wanna take a chair shot to the head from a 6 foot plus, 300lbs man.

Italian scientists have found out that the more kids watched television and used computers, the faster their puberty happened, because when there is no TV or computer, parents have to look after theirs children, play with them...and these scientists found the kids had in that case a greater quantity of an hormone that slows down growth/puberty development.

hey dont think i just blame it on celebs like britney and christina, But they do have a big part of it....girls look up to these gorgous girls and want to be like them and look like them so they will dress like them, go on diets, dye there hair and they are doing it younger and younger every year. And the celebs, they know this, so they will go and sell pepsi and clothing and whatever else because people like these little girls will buy it because there to young to know about being yourself and making there own choices
But i dont just blame it on them, i think there is alot more to it...and yes parents do have a big role in it.....but seriously how can a parent watch there kid completely...like its everywhere in the media you cant even turn on the tv and find a safe channel for children without commericals. Look what the new thing on tv is now...Extreme Makeover (which diffently isnt a kid show) but like what is that showing people? if your ugly go get surgery. Parents cant get there kids to avoid everything, you go outta your house and there is ads everywhere....another new big thing now the Carb diet....i hear about that stupid thing i dunno how many times a day its annoying and look what its doing? people are dying from heart attacks and liver failor....and i know of little girls 10 years old who want to be on a diet because there "to fat".... like thats sad when i was 10 i wasnt thinking of that kinda stuff at all. You walk into a store and theres magazines with ads, people trying to sell you stuff and saying whats cool to wear and what isnt. Kids go to school see other children who have lots of friends and wear cool clothes and think its cool and want to be like them, or they get teased. Parents can turn off the tv and watch there kids to a certain point but no parent can protect there kids for the media completely unless your micheal Jackson and make them wear masks and dont let them leave your side lol. But seriously kids are growing up to fast and at 10 or 11 they are way to young to make there own choices...so yes i do blame celebs because they do have a part of it.

oh yeah i forgot to add something...yesterday i was at work and a kid about 11 came in and asked if i could sell him chewing tobacco...i couldnt believe it.
