Green Lantern vs. Magneto

Man, reading the respect thread, he can do almost anything.

Magneto needs tech to do global stuff.

GL is like a herald.--Transmutation, time alteration

Magneto just doesn't measure up.

Green Lantern is extremely impressive. No doubt about that one.

In a fight with a GL, Magneto can still hold his own.

GLs are powerful, but Magneto can do more than just toss around metal objects.

I think GL has FTL speeds as well.

magneto can definitely take some of the rank and file lanterns but not the main characters.

Magneto has a counter to just about anything Green Lantern can do, and he has a means of defeating him.

Similarly to a GL, Magneto's power is fueled by his indomitable will.

I'm willing to bet that Magneto's will is just as strong as Hal Jordan's.

Magneto can hold his own. 5/10

Anyway, I'm a pretty big fan of Magneto, but 5/10 is really pushing it. GL 8/10.

That's all before our little retcon. It hasn't been EM in nature since Rebirth.

I don't have the comic on-hand, but I remember. It was a big yellow monster that was kicking the lantern's collective asses. John, Kyle, Hal, and some other alien GLs destroyed it while reciting the whole GL anthem thingy. It was cool.
