The newest PUNISHER issue

OMAC

Daredevil #75. Awesome comic.

Defenders #1. Funniest comic ever.

Ultimates #7!

Spoiler:
Hawkeye dead! Jan and Hank back together! Ultimates take the Nuclear weapons away from third-world country! And who is the Traitor!?

Runaways has been awesome. I was so glad to find out that Doom wasn't his real father.

Defenders was great too. DeMatteis draws the best Dormammu ever! Usually his head just looks like silly, but it looks menacing, and DeMatteis somehow manages to inject expression into it.

Daredevil was okay, but that doesn't offset the past three months of crap from that title. So glad Bendis is gone after the next arc. Brubaker will be great.

Thunderbolts--great as always. Read this book! Good old fashioned superheroics, conspiracies, badguys, you name it. Funny too, I hope Nicieza does a crossover with T-bolts and his other book, Cable and Deadpool (which is wildly enjoyable as well).

Hercules is great, I've loved the Olympians and the new labors.

Young Avengers--for once, the hype machine that is Marvel was right. This is a great title, one of their best, actually. I love how Heinberg respects what's gone before him and uses continuity, but tells such a fresh story, and each issue has been superb, his sensibilities as a TV writer have really injected the series with great timing. He knows that something has to happen each issue, both action-wise and fact/talking wise. And the Vision's back!

New X-Men: Hellions, an enjoyable mini-series so far, love the angle DeFillipis took with it, instead of making it another mutant story.

Black Panther--can we get Priest back already?

X-Men--Milligan, after a shaky first arc, is doing well now, great tension between the characters, and something definatly has to come to a head soon. Can't wait.

GLA--magnificient, go pick this mini-series up now!

Over at DC:

Manhunter: I love this title, the heroine is so interesting, she has so many problems, but she's also a controlling *****. Very interesting.

Most everything else has been pretty good, Batman, GA, JLA, JSA, but it's all geared towards Infinite Crisis stuff, so it's not worth commenting on.

ultimate fantastic four or the new avengers

Cable and Deadpool is currently my favorite title. Awesome.

And this is coming from a guy a routinely spends well over a 100 bucks on comics each month. (someone stop me 😛)

Amazing Spiderman and Toxin

OMAC/Superman/Wonder Woman... why make Superman the bad guy? they did it in Hush too... and he was barely in Identity Crisis... though seeing him nearly kill Batman was something i wasnt expecting... and fighting Diana... some fight...

Amazing Spiderman #522 purely for Wolverine getting f*cked out the window when he pissed off Peter...

Hawkeye using kitchen utensils to kill the SWAT guys was sweet in Ultimates... i dunno if he'll pull through...

Astonishing X-Men #11 Xavier hitting the Danger Room robot with the truck... cool...

I think House of M and New Thunderbolts are the best things going right now.

I thought House of M #3 was rather poor... is #4 out yet?

yea. 1 was awesome. 2 was okay. 3 sucked. 4 was awesome.

i'll have to give it a read...

The Hulk, Iron Man and Spidey tie-ins weren't great though imo...

yea, i dont read any of the tie-ins except for F4, Exiles, and New Thunderbolts.

F4 was alright... interesting to see Doom in a new light...

Justice, Ultimate Iron Man 3, Batman and Robin (Miller and Lee)

Captain America 8. Even though it's not out yet, I got to read the advance copy my comics shop got.

I thought the best comic of this month is between JUSTICE, All-Star Batman & Robin, or New Avengers #8.
