But considering what threads Cartman usually starts this thread is a amazing accomplishment for him. I havent read any of these pages in this thread but how the hell do you go 20 pages with a thread called rock vs rap. 😑

Rap has good and shit bands and Rock has good and shit bands.
I used to hate rap coz there wasn't enough guitars and then one day I sat down and listened to Public Enemy "Don't believe the hype" and I saw some sense. I admit I didn't have a clue what they were rapping about but I loved the anger behind it and we can all relate to that regardless if you hate or love rap.

I don't know if that made any sense or not but it's late and I'm tired. Going to bed now.

Its all a matter of personal preference.
Both genres are good and bad, and a solid argument for both.
But I prefer Rock over Rap, 😛 (Ducks from HH).
But I'm not saying that Hip-hop (happy??) is bad, I jsut prefer Rock.

I believe if you actually look at the best talent in Rock and Hiphop, it's academic.

Hey I like both, but it's hard for me to say which i like better cuz there's alot of crappy rock out there like simple plan and new found glory, but then again there's crappy rap such as p.diddy, and ja rule.....Listen to GodSmack or Adema, or for rap ppl try listenin to Tu-pac or Eminem... Just my opinion on this thread....
