Classical music was being written hundreds of years before guitars were even invented, so unless Chuck Berry somehow went back in time and did a jam session during the Renaissance for his buddy Beethoven, I really don't see how classical composers could be influenced by a genre which wouldn't even exist for 400 years.

I think this needs to be posted twice, so cartman can see it.

Cartman needs to grow up and realize that one's not better than the other, and that rock is itself influenced by other genre's also. Just like all music is, duh!

Anyway, rap sucks. It's all about hip-hop !!!!

u cannot really compare them like it has been said b4, because rap is so horrible that it should not be considered music! it sucks a lot, no offense to ppl who like it.
