@Gorgoroth - the translation of the text you asked about --

"The wolf howls. The ravens flee.
The ice mutters in the mouths of the sea.
The captives sad in Angband mourn."

Sindarin:
I-araf 'awa; i-chrebain dhregar;
i-cheleg nella nedh-ethir en-aear
i-ngennin nallar naer ned-Angband

[you could put "naer" to the end of the third line and replace "aear" by "aer" then itd even have a rhyme 😛 ]

[mutated forms:
i-ngennin < gad-;
'awa < gawa-
i-chrebain < craban
dhregar < drega-
i-cheleg < heleg]

😉

*tries the same in Quenya*

Thanks!

You're ugly and your mother dresses you funny
Llie n'vanima ar' lle atara lanneina

*sigh* Not Sindarin... that's Isdira 😬

i am sorry but i have studyed sindarin for a longggggggggggg time now and Navaer is not farwell...NAMARIE is.no offence..g,day

Namárie is the Quenya word for "Farewell", "Navaer" is the reconstructed Sindarin pendant 🙂

thanks to gorogoth😄

Then this someone mixed something up 🙂

Namárie can't be Sindarin;
There is no suffix -ie in Sindarin,

Plus, Namárie is formed from two words; one being PE *NA(²), the other one PE *MA3 / *MAG, and in combinations, the first sound of the second is usually mutated in Sindarin; in this case, the *M- would have to mutated to "V" which makes Namárie impossible 🙂
