Well, not all bands can play they're best at live shows....Like, I've seen a few bad shows of my own. Last time I saw Disturbed I was disappointed because the singer's voice was soooo out of tune, but it wasn't the singers fault. Its gotta suck having fans that get pissed off just cause of one show. But ya know, what can ya do? Can't please everybody.
Thtas the problem though. Putting on a good live show is the ultimate way of proving yourself as a band. Any body can write some shit music, get it smoothed out by a computer so itll sound good, and make a bunch of money off it. It takes much more to be good live. You actually have to have talent, something that appears to be lacking in MCR.
And lets be honest, dou you people actually think they are good live, or are you just afraid to admit that your favorite band blows on stage?

every band has at least one bad show. You can't be perfect, and I guess thats something you can't realize. And don't criticize me on what kind of music I listen to. I listen to a variety, maybe something you've never ever done. I have a lot of different tastes. So what if I like My Chemical Romance? I also like At the Drive In, like your little icon there. Big deal! At the Drive In isn't even a band anymore, so, why are you saying the music I listen to blows? Jesus Christ. How do you think MCR got a label to sign them on? Because they played a good show, and someone liked their music unrefined. Jeebus, if you just don't like a band, keep it to yourself.
The problem is, they always blow. I've seen 3 of their shows and on all of them they sucked. And how is bringing up that we both like At the Drive-In change anything? And I also listen to a variety of music, but I still think MCR sucks. They got signed to a label like half of the bands out today, they have an image that they can sell, and they can write some songs about suicide. The only reason that band is popular is because of their image, not because of the way they sound.
Wait, your telling me to agree to disagree on this, and then say that you're right and I'm wrong? How is that trying to make peace? They are not talented at all, there are so many more talented bands out there that you could listen to. People like me? What does that mean? People that can actually think for themselves and dont listen to everything MTV tells them is cool?
Hey! I liked MCR before they even were on MTV! Jeesus Christ. I listen to a bunch of other stuff okay? Its not like I worship MCR. I really like them, but I like other music too. So what!? God damn, this thread should be about just like MCR. If you hate them so much, why don't you make a thread where you can constantly bash them?
