The Strongest Characters

Thor is slightly weaker than Hulk and Slightly stronger than Jugs and Herc...although saying he is slightly stronger than Hulk is kinda confusing. A calm Hulk held up 150 billion tons in secret wars and Thor has lifted the Jormungad...Jugs has demonestrated some ambiguous feats of strength and Herc has lifted the entire island of Manhattan.

Every source i have ever had which indicates strength indicates that Thor is stronger than the Hulk. It is a little weird though, because Hulk has a seemingly limitless source of strength. And everyone should note that most comic book characters at one time or another have had changes made to the exact exent of there powers. Either way Thor is considerably stronger than Juggernaut. And Herc's strength is on par with Thor's.

its a pity that abominatoin was powered down just after he was bombarded with those damn rays so he is just a bit stronger than hulk when hulk is not enraged, if he wasnt powered down, he would have been the most powerful as long as brute strength was what ewe r looking at.

yea...Modok said that Abom's strength increases with fear in a similar manner to the way Hulk's increases with anger

If you got hulk really, REALLY mad I think he could be the strongest in both universes. Of course something really bad would have had to have happened in order to make him that angry, like not inviting him to your birthday party or slapping Betty around with a fish.

I'm going to go with Krissy's list, but I'd exchange classic Thor for current Colossus. And depending upon the incarnations of the characters, maybe switch Hulk and Abom. around. Depends on the day of the week, really.

I wouldn't put any cosmics like LT on here. His powers aren't displayed in strength, and he really doesn't need it anyways.

I'd put damage before I'd put colossus. Problem is he has to be beat up... right on the verge of explosion I'd put him above hulk base.

what about Apocalypse? are we talkin brute strength? or power wise? Rogue is pretty tough..maybe Thing? well maybe..lol

the original list is pretty good...if we r talking about guys on earth we could throw herc, blackbolt, wonderman, and maybe a couple other guys in the mix...I would put a ton of guys in before colossus though...he is not in the top five by a long shot...Hulk has a few enemies on Earth that r pretty strong, Destroyer, Madman, Ironclad...Im kinda thrown off by Drax cuz he isnt on earth...if Drax is in it, what about Beta Ray Bill, Gladiator, Terrax, Morg, Champion, etc.

how can wendigo be so strong if he got beaten by wolverine? i mean i know wolvies good but hed have to be superhuman if the wendigo had that power level.

Wendigo is supposed to be much stronger than hulk's base strength. It took both Hulk's and Sasquatch's strength and ability to defeat wendigo, and I doubt very much that wolverine could take on the two of them at once.

I can't explain why writers make certain heros triumph over others, to sell books I guess.
