At the moment Hercules has been somewhat depowered. He's around level 80, or should be, after losing his immortality.
She-Hulk after her recent boost should be up there too. Just last issue, #9, she was at the Baxter building testing her new strength level, they have a special machine they use to test the Thing, she maxed out the machine...with one arm. She then arm wrestled Hercules (she let him win, because an angry drunk olympian is no one to mess with) but said that she barely felt any resistance.
Yes it was in her comic. Currently she easily surpasses class 100. When did he get his immortality back? I know he was stripped of it awhile back, I think it was after the Crossing incident, when Deathcry was a member, because I know they were good friends. With his immortality taken away by Zeus, a fair portion of his strength was sapped away too.
If you're a Herc fan, check out She-Hulk 9, he breaks most of the bones in Constrictor's body, then sings a ballad about it. 'Tis hilarious.
Colossus does not belong in the top five earthlings, even at his present state...and I think we need to agree on which Juggernaut we r talking about, because present form wouldnt get in this either. Hulk belongs on the list, Thor as always, you've got a group of guys who have demonstrated they can give Hulk trouble in terms of strength(colossus can't do): Madman (knocked Hulk out with one punch, his strength hasnt really been defined) Abomination (no need for explanation), Ironclad (possesses 100+ strength and has the power to geometrically increase his strength and mass as he deems fit). Blackbolt belongs on the list considering he has 100+ strength and can also increase it using his ability to manipulate electrons in his environment. Apocalypse possesses unknown strength limits as well. Classic Herculese held up the island of Manhattan, so he deserves mention. And spike form Thing demonstrated he was stronger than the Hulk, went toe to toe with classic Herc, picked up and threw Kang's entire spaceship, basically never found himself not strong enough to do anything. In terms of pure strength, Jugs could only get on the list in his classic form, although he didnt demonstrate he was as strong as a lot of these guys in terms of how much he could lift. He was unstoppable, but he hasnt been portrayed being able to lift things like Manhattan, or the Jormungad Serpent...Colossus may be drawn really big and muscular, but that doesnt mean he is as strong as any of these guys. Should we put Ch'od and Strong Guy on here for just being big?
Colossus is not a wuss...i just picked up astonishing x-men #5...Colossus kicked ass in it...But he is not as strong as the guys on my list. From the looks of astonishing x-men #5 ... i dont know why someone would even think Colossus is as strong as present Jugs, who looked pretty big and strong in X-men 161. Ironclad is like Colossus x10...he can literally do what Blob's powers appear to do, Increase his mass and density, additionally increase his strength...when he first fought the Hulk, he kicked his ass...but he couldnt control his powers and got so heavy he just fell right through the Eearth. Hulk and Supes pick up thousands of tons all the time and still manage to stay on the surface...Ironclad got so heavy he fell into the center of the Earth...the heat and pressure smoothed and polished him until he was able to control his powers and reach the surface...Colossus wouldnt be able to move someone so heavy they can plumet right into the center of the Earth, nor could he survive that kind of heat or pressure...
I dont hate colossus, i like him...however, the name of this thread isnt who are my five favorite strong guys. Im just stating facts, not talking about who i like.
