Ya, that was weird, but those took a step down from the first version. Those are more like the game, but the one from the Spiderman 1 movie were awesome!

In The last scene in the new trailer. Venom zips by the screen, and spiderman who is battle ridden and scratched up is looking arround trying to keep an eye on him. He looks scared. (Keep in mind that Venom doesnt trigger Spidermans spidey sense) And out of nowhere, Venoms arms reach down from above Spidey and grab spiderman by the head. Its like something out of Alien or something. Its definately bad ass.

Yeah I saw the trailer when I saw 300 Last night. Best movie of the year. I wonder what are the Sand Man haters are going to say? lol

The trailer is on there. Not in very good quality, though. So I wouldn't recommend looking for it just yet.
As for the costume, your aware that Pete doesn't always use his costume when helping people. An example: in the second movie, when he saves the two kids on his way to MJ's performance.
Just because he doesn't wear his costume it doesn't mean he's totally helpless and that he couldn't do anything to help a dangerous or crime-related situation.
I'm a Sandman Hater...I dont know, I never saw him as a character with any substance. I think he will just take away from The emotional and physical conflicts that could be. We have Peter, and Harry. MJ and Harry. Spiderman and Venom. Peter and Eddie. Peter and Himself (The black suit) I just think we've been building up to some sweet conflicts that are comming to a head, and Sandman will just take valuable time away from that.
