Urgh, can we just DROP the Electro thing please? It won't happen.
The Lizard, and Green Goblin 2, it's so blatantly obvious - they are the characters with the most ties to Peter.
They are bound to adapt it so that maybe Harry is the direct cause of The Lizard being created - it would make sense in a movie. It would have great implications for the good/bad guy thing going on with both villains.
I mean, if the Lizard is going to be in the movie - why should they have yet another "Determined yet good natured scientist turns himself into a monster" plotline? No, I think in order for the audience to see how evil Harry has become, he should tamper with Conners experiments, maybe by trying to ruin Pete's life (I'm thinking Harry tries to get Pete kicked out of everything and ruin him - so maybe he could try and sabotage and experiment he's working on?).
I know it ain't following the comics, but I don't want it to. I want them to adapt it, to change it slightly, just to inspire some interest within the spider-man fans. It would follow the comic book plot as a whole, but they should adapt a few things.
Harry obviously takes the serum, and has his intellect expanded right? So he probably becomes an amazing strategist, and I wouldn't put it past him actually indirectly or directly creating the lizard, and manipulating him.
"But The Lizard shouldn't be controlled like that!"
I hear ya, which is why The Lizard should also be a calculating SOB too. It would be cool to see Harry control The Lizard, and when The Lizard eventually breaks free of Harrys control (which he may have never had in the first place - could have just led him on, to use his resources at Oscorp?), The Lizard becomes the MAIN villain, and Harry helps to stop
him by doing the "oh God what have I done - PETE!" and sacrifices himself. That would be really, really cool. A bit fanfic-ish, but I like it.
Either way, I think it's safe to say poor old Harry bites the bullet in movie 3.
What better way to showcase the fact he was a BETTER MAN than his father, by actually being able to force himself good again, long enough for him to save his best friend from The Lizard. There could be a scene where it mimmicks the first movie, where Norman tries to fight the Goblin within himself but fails. This time, Harry is able to save Spider-Man in a last second save from The Lizard.
That would be so sweet to see Harry go out in a blaze of glory, after all the crap that happened to him - he was still loyal to Peter.
I'd love to see what they can cook up with this one.
THat would be an awesome storyline, red. I'll be satisfied even if Harry dies in the 3rd movie (as long as he dies near the end and they give him enough screentime). He would totally steal the show that way! I'm starting to lean towards Harry not actually becoming green goblin because 2 crooks in costumes would be kind of lame if not done right. Besides, I wouldn't be able to see Franco's gorgeous face if he were to wear that mask all the time lol.
Biting the bullet = he dies, one way or another.
Why would Harry saving Spidey be lame? It would prove that he was more of a man than Norman ever thought he was. It would prove he was stronger and tougher than Norman because he beat The Goblin himself. Not lame at all. Cool drama is what it is.
And Sandman? Are you sure? I mean, is this another "internet exclusive confirmed report", because if it is, I wouldn't believe it at all.
It's amazing how many mini-reporters are out there, putting crap up on their fanboy websites claiming somethings true.
LoL ok, I highly doubt that Harry was at peace once he found out his father was the Green Goblin. The guy is already going crazy, what with having visions of his father, risking Peter's life to find out who spiderman is.. Didn't you see that evil grin Harry had during MJ's wedding? You can soooo tell he's up to something.

I don´t think venom and carnage should be in the same movie, seeing that venom and spiderman had history long before carnage.
You don´t get that feeling of hate and all that.
They could have Venom and Spidey fight through-out the movie (while showing a trial case for Kasady so we know about him), and towards the end, something happens that causes the symbiote to spawn and it attaches to Kasady, forming Carnage.
The BBC has posted a new interview with Sam Raimi talking about both Spider-Man 2 and the May 4, 2007 Spider-Man 3. Here's clips on the third film...
You're currently at work on the script for Spider-Man 3...
I just finished this morning [Monday 12th July] - I mean the basic story. I'd been working on it with my brother.
The sense you get towards the end of Spider-Man 2 is that Peter Parker and Harry Osborn will face off in the third. Is that a fair assumption?
Well I'm trying to... I can't tell you.
What can you tell us?
It's going to follow the natural progression of the growth of these two individuals, Mary Jane Watson and Peter Parker. It will be a love story and it will track the relationship as they encounter new conflicts that separate them. And hopefully their own will and love for each other will bring them back together in the piece. Harry will be a problem, but I'm not certain if Harry will become the Goblin or not. The thing I'm really not certain about is if he comes to feel, "Now I have the means to destroy Spider-Man - I was too weak before but now I have a way and I will become the man that my father always dreamed I could be." Or, does he feel: "Now I understand why Spider-Man had to destroy him, because he was a mass murderer and now my anger can drain away from me." It could be an answer to a question and it ends the pursuit, but I'm not certain which way to go.

yea five characters in one movie is a big stretch. the movie would be liek 4 hours long. if they did that. and it wud still be underdeveloped.
they should prolly do something to develop harry's plot but not totally turn him into the next green goblin or the hobgoblin. sp3 should prolly start with john jameson coming back from them moon. thus bringing back the alien symbiode and wuteva other alien artifacts. from here they could develop jameson into the man-wolf because of the alien pendant he finds amoung the artifacts and during a battle with spiderman, spiderman comes into contact with the symbiode. or they could skip man-wolf and save him for later and develop the lizard/conners character while still letting spiderman interact with the symbiode. then whicheva route they take they should then develop the mj n peter story to continue from sp2. then wutev else the decide to throwin to devel the plot the end should foreshadow the coming of venom. possibly even the suggestion posted earlier...
The scene is of Brock weaping in the church, obviously prepared to commit suicide. After praying one last time he places a gun to his head. The image slowly starts to fade to black and the viewer can just barely see part of the symbiote slowly creeping into the scene. Fade to black... end of movie
thats a good possibility but maybe change it so that hes like in his apartment cussing out about spidey/peter and all the rage that is inhabited in him attracts the symbiode and thus leaving the coming of venom for sp4
my two cents. i think it wud be a killer movie. action pact'd but plot developing.
