I highly, highly doubt that Green Goblin 2 will happen. If Raimi is smart, he won't repeat villains this early.

Why? What makes you think that Walken wouldn't be in something like this?? I think that given Walken's past movie choices... he would relish the idea of a chance to be the biggest and best bad boy in the Spidey storyline. A reversal of fortune to the Batman movies...Joker? Great villian.... everything since....sucked. Going out on top gets scripts.

Walken wouldn't fit the roles mentioned there because you have to be able to act and LOOK like the characters at least somewhat. Walken's a great actor, but nobody would cast him as like Black Cat or something lol.

I never said that they would make other movies. Unless Raimi and the rest sign up, I hope they don't. I'm not the type that would rather see 50 Spider-Man movies just to see them, than to see 3 really good ones. Batman & Robin never should have been made, it ruined the series for a while. Stuff like that happens, and I hope Spider-Man doesn't get cursed with the same thing. HOWEVER, repeating villains this early is true. Think about a comic book even. Would you keep buying the issues if it was the same villain over and over again? No more hype for originality. When you have an arsenal of cool villains as wide as Spider-Man's gallery includes, and you start doing the same thing again, its boring. Think about his possibilities besides GG2:

Lizard, Scorpion, Shocker, Rhino, Mysterio, Sandman, Venom, Carnage, Electro, Smythe, Chameleon, Man-Wolf (ugh), blah blah blah blah...would you really wanna be able to say "oh, green goblin...seen it in the first one, big deal."

His whole cast list of villains sucks.

i agree with you guys, c'mon you don't need big movie stars to get a great film, for a comic movie like spiderman what you need is good acting plus look-like faces and bodies.

Belushi could portraying his role as Sandman.but Walken could portrayed as Kraven.but I like Stallone as Brock and Short as Cassidy and even Tom Sizemore as Scorpion.because two CGIs Venom and Carnage are also in the third Spidey movie.

There...you proved my point... I have yet to see a villain that everyone likes, and the majority that likes Venom are posting with a "if your going to go down, go down swinging!!!" attitude. I like the series. I would like to see some serious faith placed in the next movie. I would like the fat cats to remember that it was the fans that made this thing big. If that is taken care of, then any spin offs or continued story lines may receive the attention that they deserve.

By the way... Peter Parker is dumb as dirt!!! He has been in college for like 35 years....lol. You would think that they would age him some 😆 Wonder what a baby parker could do??? Makes for an interesting mini-story 😄 ...."Steven Parker!!!! Get down off the side of that wall!!! and put that couch down!!! 😆

Is it just me, or does Christopher Walken always play the bad guy? He even plays bad guys in comedies.

The only villains in Spider-Man 2 are Green-Goblin2 and The Lizard! I thought we astableshed this!?!?!

A cameo from Eddie Brock is almost definate though, the possability of Wolf-Man in Spider-Man 4 (if they make it) is also high.

If a villain has appeared in Spider-Man The Movie Video Game 1 or 2 then they will NOT be appearing in the films, because the games are the films but in more depth. Therefore Spidey has all ready battled Scorpion, Vulture, Kraven, Rhino ect.

Spiderman will NOT have more than 2 villains per film
