I agree in the movies his strength depicted is probably 1-2 tons max.

Venom is stronger than spiderman. The symbiote augmented spidermans powers by a bit.
Lastly it would be cool that while Peter wears the black costume his attitude changes to be more colder, ruthless until he realizes that the suit is changing him.

I was surfing the web looking at various toy sites for star wars, and stumbled on this poster of spider man 3, if you look at the back ground its all black and at the bottom is a white arch, it looks similar to that of Venom's white spider.
I didn't read any of this after I saw spoiler so could someone who doesn't mind private message me that there's not too much that I don't know (you know like something from the comic that I already know or the animated series? I sounds like it might be good so someone let me know.
