Even if there was a miracle and that happened he still at least 3 feet too small. Its like having the Hulk be 6 feet tall in a 2004-future film.

i dont really like the director, but just because grimm is like 2 feet shorter doesnt mean anything, i think thats just hardcore fanboyism talking, a short hulk and shorter thing look amazing, and would be easier movie wise, have you read hulk & thing hardknocks?....in that comic they're probably between 5 and 7 feet tall which is how they used to be in the old comics, i think it looks awesome and it would look amazing on film imo, im not gonna go against them for making a shorter thing, or a less firey human torch although i do have my doubts but im not justifying them till after i watch the movie

i do have my doubts but im not justifying them till after i watch the movie

i think we'll all do that.

as for the height part, i wouldnt care what height the thing was as long as he looked good, he can be short and brilliantly created and i'd be happy.

i think some of us are just so dissapointed with grims costume, thats all.

They could have just as easily given him some type of heel, stilt, etc. or use a taller actor to make the Thing taller so saying it would be easier movie wise is not neccessairly true. They have never been five feet tall and even if they were at one point in time the fact remains that 90-95 percent of time they are taller than that.

What I meant was that even IF The Thing managed to look half decent I would still be distracted by the fact the he is only 5 feet tall and that everyone else around him in the film is taller than him.

i always that the thing was around the same height as reed, but much bulkier

He might be bulkier but not taller or the same height either.

i meant the comic one

Yeah Reed was always about 6 feet something and in my oppinion the Thing was always about a foot taller.

really? my mistake, sorry.

I didn't say you were wrong I was just saying thats how I remembered him. I suppose we all remember him differently depending on the comics we read.

oh, ok

Got a new sig. What do you think?

not bad, not bad at all, say, u read the rpg yet?

Nope but I'm about to in a minute.

k

actually in some of the old comics the thing is about 5' 10", when he becomes the thing in some of the old comics he didnt gain height, he just basically became a thing keeping his normal height and girth

and the hulk was about 7' 4" in a most of his old comics also
