Batgirl stood rooted to the spot, crossing her arms across her chest. "Batman...Joker is not in Arkham...he escaped last night-remember?" She bit her lip nervously. Experience had taught her that the Batman never got his facts wrong...yet tonight he was acting sorta..weird.

Batman looked at batgirl "Urm..right....sorry about that. I must have lost my concentraction there for a moment. Well, lets go to arkham to investigate how he escaped" Batman pushed a button on his utility belt and the batmobile came screatching towards them. "Get in"

A rainy wednesday night in Gotham, people hurry through out the city in a frantic bid to get home and out of the cold damp miserable rain. Little be knownst to them a man stalks the roof tops against the night sky, their protector, their guardian, he is the Batman, their champion.
Being accompanied by his partner Batgirl in the never ending struggle to retain peace and justice in the hectic corrupt city that is Gotham. The quickly move from building to building ever watchful. But tonight theirs no sign of anything out of the ordinary.
Maybe all the evil dooers took a break tonight he thinks for a moment. That thought quickly escapes his mind, he knows all to well that will never happen.
He proceeds continuing his journey into the night, into the shadows, into the very mouth of hell itself some might think.
