He may very well be innocent, I don't know. Given the new info that the dispute was over money, I tend to lean (guess) that he was asked for money, he said no, their was a verbal fight and he probably said and possibly did some things he shouldn't have.
What I found funny is that the majority of people in here automatically took the stand of "Bale is innocent, his mother and sister are worthless peices of shit!", and this was before anything was really known (not that much is known now) about the incident, which was my original point. It is also funny that many of those people happen to be TDK fanatics.

Still haven't seen The Dark Knight. I'm not even that huge of a Bale fan. He's a good actor though.

Watched it again, I liked it more the 2nd time around, the extreme fatigue from jet-lag I had did affect me the 1st time around. So I recommend you see it, it's worth a watch. Yes, Bale definitely is.

He has a pretty outstanding track record.
Empire of the Sun, American Psycho, Batman Begins, Rescue Dawn, The Machinist (I liked it and haven't see such dedication to a role...ever), The Prestige, Equilibrium (Judged on its own merit).
I can't think of a movie of his I haven't enjoyed, barring Reign of Fire, which was shit.
Maybe outstanding is too strong a word, since he hasn't turned in any roles of Pacino in The Godfather quality, but he has been at LEAST very good in all of his movies that I've seen, which have all been very good at least, also.
His consistency is outstanding, probably a better way to put it.
I do think he's slightly in danger of playing the same gravelly-voiced person more than once. Batman, fine, but he's doing it in the Terminator: Salvation trailer too. I don't think he did it in Rescue Dawn and he didn't do it in American Psycho (Which I thought his speaking was amazing in). Maybe it's just because a few of his latest films have featured it that I'm getting that impression.

That's odd, since he is excellent at disguising his British accent. Probably some ******* producer trying to bank on TDK fame.
