Time travel isn´t possible because time doesn´t excist. Its a human invention so we won´t be late for work, or miss the harvest.
The speed of light is often brought into the discussion. That by exceeding its speed somehow enables one to go back in time. Whats the speed of light got to do with it? the Neutrinos in the particle accelerator were pushed beyond the speed of light, but they didn´t reapear before the experiment started. You can overtake the light emmited from the past and watch it, unfortunately it would have changed due to numerous issues.
The human race won´t achive time travel, if they would then we would have been visited by people from the future already.
Consider this: if time travel were possible, maybe some human went back in time and helped create the universe by initiating the big bang, that would mean the universe started in the future.
And all this Black hole talk is rubbish.
A black hole is nothing more than a mega dense piece of matter with an amazingly strong magnetic and gravity field. So strong that it pulls everything in, these things then become part of the object making it even more dense. If you fly into a black hole you wil become a part of it, a very flat part of it.
The reason behind the "hole" description that no known particles (photons radio waves) can´t escape it therefore we see a hole when looking at it.
after all space is a Vacuum, yep space is a hole, how can you make a hole in a hole. the universe is the matter which is in it, beyong it is NOTHING. this is hard for us to imagine because we alsways expect something to be after something else.

The interesting thing about nothingness is, there is no big or small. No gravity, no time and no space.
The reason why people talk about parallel universes is because of the supper string mathematical formula. This mathematical formula is to complex for us, with all of our technology, to solve. You are right, black holes are just really dense matter that we can not understand. But string theory suggests ~10 dimensions.
I havent gone through all the pages, but I imagine someone must've mentioned the granfather paradox. And if so, someone else probably mentioned the way out of it: you can back in time but not into your timeline of origin. You end up in a parallel timeline. This way you can kill your parallel-universe grandfather while still not affecting time-traveling-you.
Still, this leaves problems. I forget which physicist it was (maybe Stephen Hawking) who posed the question: if time travel is possible in the far future, where are all the tourists? How come there hasnt been a single incident (at least that the public is aware of) where some time traveler (whether from a parallel future or not) slipped up and revealed his true nature?
Then again, perhaps we have seen time travelers and/or their machines. We call them ghosts, fairies, UFOs, angels, etc, etc.
There is also Hawking's Chronological Protection Conjecture. Basically, everytime someone goes back in time the universe is changed. With enough trips into the past/changing of the universe, eventually the universe has "evolved" to where time travel is no longer permitted.

I don´t think its possible to travel backwards in time, and that problem can be solved only philosophically if you want, think like this... the past already happened, it is already written. For example, I was not born before 1983, and I did not exist before that year, so I can´t travel back to 1500 because I simply was not there. If I travelled there then it would not be the past, since in the past I was not there.
Thats why the parallel universe theory was created, and its author is Richard Feymann, and he is also the Father of Nanotechnology. In this theory it is impossible to travel to the past by the reason I have explained above, but maybe it could be possible if I think I am travelling to an parallel universe in which I existed in 1500, and this would eliminate the paradox.
PS : Don´t think it would be possible to travel back to a time were you already have been born, since you already have done what you did before, and you cannot change what is already done.
time is not the constant, the speed of light it, now if we can some how make it go the same speed but backwards, then perhaps time would reverse its self as we know it, but our perception of it would still be one way, now, a human traveling outside of time, like going back far in time would be much more hard, a human has not good odds surviving that, now, sending a small just chunk of matter back in time would be much easier, and even more than that if you have no certain time or place to send it, Einstein said its not imposable as there's nothing stooping it, but it would require a near infinite amount of energy, if we wanted to and had all the required materials and time we could send a human back in time, maby at the cost of the known universe, but we could do it, and if we had to we could possible keep that person alive, some form of force Field, any way
time is not a constant, all you have to do is set it up for the speed of light not to change you go back in time, thats how we would rewind it, but we would lose all memory of it, so we would do it again and again till some divine force or an inferring person eventually stumbled into our reality perhaps by chance and changed it
the other one is to isolate your self from this universe by ,for all intensive purposes, magic and then find some way to navigate to a past reality that was split at the point where you want, all nice and fun
past is possible for viewing purposes only(strange ways but possible)......future is seen and entered into all the time(the mind but wont go there will stick to science)...speed can make one travel into the future...and no I dont mean stimulants...lol....read some not suppose to be released nasa files available via google...lol.....do enuff searchin youll find em....You go fast enuff in space you DO advance in time you are still 30 your wife ends up 60 by the time you get back just by traveling a little while at "unbelievable speeds in space" time travel is irrelavent unless you intend to change the FUTURE for GOOD...I feel there is a force that prevents interference unless intentions are pure and will not harm the "FLOW"...lol...bottom line...if u dont know leave it alone....nuff said...pass me a drink...🍺
