Signature Help/Tutorials

Well, for starters, cF uses Photoshop. If you want to cut out parts of the picture, use the eraser or lasso tools, that way you can cut out only what you want.

With PSP layers are your best friend; start out with whatever you want as your background as the bottom layer, then paste the other pics you want to use as a seperate layer on top, erase out anything you don't want with the eraser or lasso tools. Try playing with layer blend modes, to do that go to Layers > Properties and experiment with blend modes and opacity. Be sure that you have it set to preview it so you can see what you're doing 🙂

i needa noe how i can shrink the size of my pix cuz its way over 30k... but they are 400x150.

o and im using photoshop 7

if you can save as a .png then it will keep the quality and shrink the file size

Can't use PNGs on this site though, and PNGs tend to be much larger in file size than JPEGs because it keeps all the quality.

When you save it as a JPEG, there'll be a slider bar that let's you choose the quality setting. Keep lowering it until it's under 30kb, or you can go to Save for Web.

i have a sigy but it says it's too big...i don't know what to do from here...😬 😕

How do I make the size of the pic I want? Like when I resize it and try to make it 400x100, it screws up the whole thing 😠

Check to be sure the sig is under 450x150 and is less than 30 KB.

Go to Image > Image Size. Make sure Constrain Proportions is checked.

I use adobe Photoshop 7.0 got any advice with that?

What the hell? How the hell is a sig the size of 250-150 too big. Jeez they got to fix this.

Signature Help Needed
Hey peepz, I havent asked for help in here in a while. Now I need it. So here goes: How do I make a banner with like pics (Say I was making one similar to the one I have now) and I wanted to do something with text like this EX: http://www.orlandocentral.net/img/top6.gif Like the text in different layers, overlapping and stuff. How can I do that?
