Yes I know that, I have used both a lot....I just can't stand PSP anymore after using PS because while you can replicate SOME of the effects, many you can't 😛 PSP is far more dependent on the filters than PS is.

I have a question, where can you find good png images? also, any advice for someone using GIMP? if you look at my sigs, they're all one dimensional, how do I make something more complex?

In the Resources thread there's a link to a bunch of sites you can get renders from.

As for Gimp help....ask Barker, DW, or Digi. They've all used it/use it.

NOOBIE QUESTION: How do I save an animated thing in image ready. When I go to save optimized as it only saves it as a .jpeg???

There's a box or something on the right where you set the number of colors and such, select GIF.

The colours came out so bad though??? Why???

GIFs have a limit of 256 colors.

The colors on that actually don't look bad at all.
