Jpeg is the best way to go, definately.

hmm, yeah I probobly forgot to do that.

Oh course my trial in Paintshop is over and Photoshop is plain out useless, so now I guess im just going to have to save up enougth to buy Paintshop 🙁

It's probably the best graphics program out there...it IS the industry standard.

It's just not like PSP in that you can expect to be great at it right off the bat.

Whenever I do animation I use imageready, but I have animation shop on computer. I just have no clue how to use it. Does anyone know of any introduction tutorials to animation shop? Is it any better than IR, or should I just stick to what I know?

I've used both, but I find that IR is easier and better for animations.

Can anyone lower the kbs and make this transparent...again. Sorry to be a pain, but their are lines all round the edge and it looks crap. Cheers.

Does anyone know how to make the clearish border on most of the sigs on here on PSP X?

I use PSPX and i make an image the amount of pixels less than the image (450x150 sig an image 446x146) then add the border to the less image and make the middle transparent then put it over the sig 😄

Ummm....make a blank white background layer, that should (hopefully) fix it. I don't know why it does that but I've had that happen before too.

That has happened to me before. I forget exactly what I did to fix it. 😬

I think it happens when the bottom-most layer is also tweening, so it loses opacity and induces the transparency.

I would do what Lana said; make a layer, stick it at the bottom, and make sure it's visible.

Well I tryed using it and its completly different from Paintshop, which I am used to.

Yeah, it is completely different. PSP is much more user-friendly as in you can open it up and do anything with it without much practice; PS requires MUCH more practice to do anything good. However, PSP is far more limited in what you can do - it's very reliant on filters. PS has many more tools that are available.

PS basically takes much more work to get used to but once you are, I don't think you'd imagine using something else. I started seriously using it a few years ago after having used PSP since I was 14 (I got PS when I was 16 and started using it three years ago, when I was 17), and now I can't do a damn thing in PSP, and it cannot do 90% of what I want to do.
