This battle already played itself. Colossus was defeated by Juggernaut in a bar and Colossus complained later to Wolverine why he and Nightcrawler didn't come and help him. Wolverine then began bantering him with the philosophy of the team/family type of thing and his insensitivity towards Shadowcat's feelings (or was her name Sprite in those days?).
If this fight played again, Colossus would still lose. If you are matching against Juggernaut based basically on strength, then this battle is a no-brainer. To beat Juggernaut, you would in most cases match him in a different level as you would do with Gladiator (pit them against a telepath).
Collosus is super strong, but throughout his history, he always gets pushed around (even though he is the strongest x-man alive). Juggernaut can't die, he isn't a mutant, so it really doesn't matter. They would have the most awesome fight, cept it would probably last a few days, since collosus is pretty much invulnerable...pretty much, (anybody read the pheonix saga with him and gladiator? the original?). but that stupid jem made juggy too powerful (he tied continuously against the hulk!). so one on one, juggy wins eventually. but not without a magnificant display of power.
and oh yeah, is it just me? or is the x-man evolution collosus a big sissy? The original collosus was awesome, THE definition of power. My favorite x-man. It was kinda cheap how they killed him off. 🙁

Yeah I agree the Collosus from Evolution was a sissy. He never even fought Juggernaut on the show and if he would have they would probably just make him seem very weak.
So nobody complains, 'cause I've seen people complain about this, the ellipsis means that part of the quote was cut out.

But there's two instances of them fighting with a magnificant display of Colossus getting knocked out.

I don't recall but in the Fox cartoon he tore off Juggernaut's helmet. The whole Evolution series was wacky.
