Terminator 4 Without Arnold?

While in the war, we can see something that has puzzeled me since i saw T3. The HK'S. How are they so big in the future yet they were small when skynet took over at the end of T3. It would be great to see how they grow in size and become equiped with more weapons.

A "Terminator" fim without Arnie? Hard to imagine...

Oh and btw, just because Arnie is in pohlitics now, it does not discount another Terminator film - whether he's in it or not.

Oh, and Alic88? What's this talk about the "title" of this new film? There isn't even a script yet! Hold your horses...

If you play the x box t3 you see lots of extra shit, john getting killed, the future ect, t4 will be dope no matter what, they wont ass **** it, Arnold is getting old, who knows if hell even be up for the role soon, by the time that make t5 hell be old as, dont get me wrong hes a legend, but hes gotta look like a terminator not a granpa, whats this t-850 shit? was the last terminator a up grade?

also, if only living tissue can travel back in time then whats the go with the tx n t-1000?

Sorry but the Alien quadrilogy was not James Cameron's franchise. Alien was directed by Ridley Scott (who also directed "Blade Runner" and "Gladiator"😉. Aliens was directed by James Cameron. Alien 3 was directed by David Fincher (who also directed "Fight Club"😉 and Alien Resurrection was directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet (who also directed "Amelie"😉.

So either you're mistaken or Cameron was misquoted in the interview that you read because each of the four films that make the Alien quadrilogy had different directors.

Perhaps Arnold is too old for the role. But hey, at least the writers are aware of it {"I'm an obsolete design"}, and besides, Arnold's alright for someone in his late 50's...

Writer John Brancato (Terminator 3) talked to Latino Review about the development of Terminator 4 without Arnold Schwarzenegger in the lead role. He also talked about a possible new character taking his lead.

"We did have to think about a new franchise character. He couldn’t carry the movies anymore. So that caused us to have, I think, a pretty novel approach about what the new terminator would be like. What directions would it go in. Again, they made me actually sign things that I would not leak. As much as I would like to brag about the script, I can’t really tell you," he said.

So, what makes them think that anyone will want to see anyone else as "Terminator"? Franchises that change their lead roles multiple times, fail. i.e. Batman.

Aside from that, there is no need for a "T4", the prophecy came true, and John is going to lead the resistance, per the ending of "T3". On top of that, it will be another 8 years atleast until anyone will want to see another "Terminator" movie, just like the 7 + 12 year spans between the other 3 movies.

I agree with you but also if they ever made another it should just be a war between humans and the endo skeletons. Thats it because in five years Arnold will be 61 years old. Anyway a war that lasts the whole movie would cost at least $350 million to make. No actor can ever ever take Arnold's place because he is the Terminator without him why not call it Evil Robots Strikes Back 4 lol. 😆

If Arnold Schwarzenegger won't return to reprise the T-800 role, I know someone who will: Robert Patrick. You know him as the T-1000 villain from "Terminator 2: Judgment Day". It's possible he might play that role again in "Terminator 4".

Robert Patrick isn't in the same shape he use to be. They can't make T4 without Arnie cause in T3 Arnie says he kills John Connor in the future. gunsmilie

In that case, part 4 wouldn't have to be until his death. Or if it does end with his death, it could be with a cameo, where Arnold just busts into the room.

it would be horrible if arnold wasn't in it...the movie just isn't the same, if u look at the main characters of the first two films, it was arnold, and linda, now the main characters are claire and nick....
