All of you guys ease off of Paola--governing all the morons on these threads is an unenviable job, and it's easy for things to get out of ccontrol. She needs to exercise some control, lest these threads grow so much in number and inanity that they are rendered as pure, inane drivel.
She runs a fairly tight ship, and the back-talk and insolence only undermines her efforts.

Of course, I realize that I'm prone to digressing my share as well, but I've never wasted space on the threads questioning or insulting the mods.
Everyone back off the insults. Spiderman_RJ, that was uncalled for; you have no place saying someone sucks at drawing if they are doing it for your benefit. Every artist needs to improve their work, no matter who you are. It also improves the more you work at it. With that being said, you, Koto, myself, and all artists alive today, need to and will continue to improve their work.

I can totally take as much constructive crticism as you can throw at me. In fact, I like it because it does help me improve my art. But when jacka$$es like RJ come on, and just blast my art because they feel like boosting their own egos, or just attempting to insult me- Well, I lose it. It's second to character assassination in my opinion. So I tend to return with a bit of deconstructive personal criticism (an eye for an eye as they say).
I loved your Malice design, but I thought it looked a little rushed, even though it probably was just a little sketch for you, even though it's WORLDS better than anything I'd ever be able to do and most other things i've seen by other people. It's nowhere near your more detailed work, but I don't think you were going for something as nearly as detailed as those other ones, you were just going for something to show us what it/she/they looks like. Great job, and keep up with the great fics and art.
Edit: I love the red tint you gave to the black parts of the Malice costume.
Also, why doesn't She-Venom have hair?

RJ, the mediator in me wants to try to justify and/or clarify the point of your statements here the past couple of days, but I think trying to make excuses for you does Koto even more of a disservice.
I understand that you don't feel that you're wrong, and I understand that you may have been making an attempt at constuctive criticism--albeit, a very poor one--
However, I feel compelled to point out to you that not only was the initial comment about the drawing in bad taste, but then you make it even worse by calling him a jackass and a moron, when that obviously couldn't be further from the truth.
To make matters worse, you then dig yourself deeper still by saying that you did not in fact insult him at all, you merely said that the drawing "sucks", and that he was just overly sensitive over your "contructive criticism" (and I use the term as loosely as possible here).
I would like to think that your one-word synopsis of the picture was just your way of trying not to indicate specific things that you didn't like about it, but I am finding it difficult to interpret your meaning here. Is it possible that everyone here is just misunderstanding your sentiment? It may be possible, but if that's true it is because you were unable to find the words to convey your thoughts appropriately.
Then, there's the matter of nit-picking Scibott's Portuguese--and I have only one thing to say about that--sometimes, you're like school in the summertime. No class. Please work on this.
After all the arguements we've had, I'd like to think that we have a fair understanding of each other. Understand that I'm trying to help, but if you want to strike out on your own here, then my conscience is clear. After all, right is right.
RJ, I'm not going to apologize for my words, however I will say that I think there was merely a breakdown in communication. I took your initial statement as a generalization of my art as a whole, not specifically directed at that one piece. However, your comment was still in extremely bad taste, and while I understand your english is not perfect, it's also not difficult to come up with constructive crticisms. Rather than say it sucks, you could have merely said you didn't like it. Saying it sucks implies that its bad in general, which clearly isn't true since people have stated otherwise. Yes, you can dislike whatever you want, I could give a hoot in hell. It's the attitude that pisses me off, and resulted in me taking a piece out of you.
And when you've been drawing as long as I have, you take insults on your drawings personally, so don't try to blow off your comment as being innocent. It was hostile, and I took it as such, and anything you say to the otherwise is moot, plain and simple. Trying to act like the victim in this exchange has just further reduced my opinion of you. The mature thing to have done would have been to apologize for making such a comment in bad taste, but since you neglected to do so...what can I say? Other than, you've now been added to my ignore list.
