I suppose that with writing your own code, you can be sure that all the various mods you install work together....and you can tell right away what's causing a problem 😛Too bad PHP for the most part makes my brain pop when I try and code it myself.
I know little of actual coding, but I've learned from experience what would make 2 hacks conflict with one another.

Probably not. 🙂

Why do you do that? There are some codes already written that for the most part won't disrupt the code you already have...even if they do, you can modify the code for your use. I've had to do that myself.
On a side note, I've modified the post bit so that registered date is no longer shown, instead a more useful "gender" has taken it's place. Hopefully, it'll stop the "i thought you were a girl"-type comments. Currently this is only visible on the default style.

I, and my good friend botankus, don't think that ius necessarily a good idea actually. YOu could maybe make it optional. I personally prefer to kn ow the join date (which has to be true) then the Gender which is probably wrong anways.

I have a suggestion....could we have like an 'official' refernce thread for the more frequentsig makers...like what kind of sigs they prefer to make, themes, styles etc...whether they are taking requests, let people post pics in their thread etc...kind of for new people to look at to get an idea of who to go to for a certain type of sig....
