How about having a short restriction for new members.. like 2 weeks before they can post, just so they can look around the forums get to know where everything is and where threads should be made..Or only allow them to post in the Welcome section, I think it would stop thread like this one:
http://www.killermovies.com/forums/448317_1-doody
That would only deter new members from posting, joining in and commenting on topics. It will means a decrease in new blood. KMC is suppose to be a welcoming forum for members with interests in it's many forums. It's understandable to make a few mistakes as a new member, you can't exactly join and know all the about what should or shouldn't be done or you will be suspected to be a sock.

Succesful in what way? The body count of soldiers mounts and they are no closer to having control of the country they illegally invaded now, then they did when this started.
Well at first they claim to have a reason, but it turns out to be untrue. Vietnam war had many more casulties and in the end they never got control. The Iraq war they have gained some what control over the situation. There will always be resistance in any war for various reasons.
I agree the war should never have started, but since it did, they may as well finish what they started, otherwise Iraq will turn out worse then it is and all the effort and the lives lost would be for nothing.
