There is nothing wrong with a little respect.

Generally good advice.

The way she was going on its as if hes anything special. If he's not doing his mod duties just say it straight instead of beating round the bush.

Didn't you get the memo? Moderators on this website are to be treated like God's!

Hmm.....nah.

She was adressing a member with authority. I can't blame her for not wanting it to be interpreted as disrespectful.

There's being respectful then there...well that,

What exactly is your problem here? Are you out for some sort of discussion? What's it to you if she decides to express an obvious concern not to be interpreted as disrespectful?

No problem just felt like point out there's no need to be so god damn respectful to the point where its just stupid.

Nio discussion I just keep getting responses lol.

You can't not have expected a response when you did that post, only you probably expected it from Q'Anilia. I honestly find that post of yours nigh on-edge baiting.

For what it's worth, I don't consider that post respectful to a stupid extent. To a worried extent perhaps, but there's nothing wrong with that either.

No baiting from me lol.

When you are asking someone for something it is very prudent to be polite.

There's polite and then there's overly polite.

I got no problem with being polite but she shouldn't treat the mod as anything but another person.

They should be treated as what they are. An authority figure. Adressing an authority should be with utmost respect, especially when it concerne the power of that authority.

She could've buttered in way more than that and I still wouldn't define it as overly polite.

An authority figure on an Internet site is nothing. Seriously they're people with power in a forum behind a computer. That's all.

No reason to make a big thing out of all this anyway.

I think you are wrong. She didn't say anything that was too sucky and even if she did it is none of your business.

Also, she should treat the mod as something more than other posters when talking to them in an official capacity- as this thread is. It is good manners and right to do considering the Moderators have authority and assist with keeping these boards going.

Anyway, that is not what this thread is here to discuss so, that is the end of the matter.

Its a forum so I can post about it if I like.

Bout time, shouldn't have been a big thing to start with.

Shouldn't have been at all. Not every opinion one has, has to be voiced.

Doesn't have to but I wanted it to.

Anyway this is getting old so enough of it.

Haha, talking to your friends is serious 'bussiness!'

Spellchecking is educative. At least has been to me. It's nice to have it accessable ✅
