Let's say, for example, Mr.Pibbles (with a post count of 1 and joined 3 months ago) has a birthday the same date as someone like yers (our number one poster)... that's my point

I know what you guys mean, it's just that I don't see the point. If anything, you should push to have inactive accounts that haven't had activity in so long be deleted.

This whole deal with birthdays being relevant to post count is pointless. Just because people post a lot here doesn't necessarily make them popular. In fact, it probably shows they spend too much time on the boards, lol. I doubt the method in which birthdays are represented will change, since there's no need to. If people are popular, they usually get a thread of their own started by someone in the OTF/GDF as it is.

Raz, I was wondering if it's possible that you could make the User CP Buddy List so it shows what they're doing online, like in the "Who's Online" page.

Pretty sensible idea...

raz should delete all those account that havent posted EVER!!

He could...but to do it electronically will be a hassle, since new members join everyday and if he used a program to delete ALL accounts with 0 posts then the new accounts will be deleted. Maybe those people would post within a day or two.

Also there's a possibility (a small one mind you) that a member that joined a year ago stumbles upon KMC again, then remember their username and password and want to post.

Raz has to keep the members list the way it is, regardless of how many "Zero Posters" there are.

I was thinking inactive accounts past so many months, say, 3-6.

Yes, but like I said, there is still a possibility that someone who joined 3-6 months ago will come back and make a post.

If they didn't already, I highly doubt it. Even so, they'd probably forgot they registered, and start up a new membership.

There is a teeny tiny miniscule chance that someone will come back AND remember their username and password.

A possibility for them to come back is reason enough to keep the accounts.

Plus the member count makes us look like a bigger forum. 😊

I' m surprised you can still find the energy to turn on your computer.

There will be numerous candidates interested in one and the same username. How to decide which member will get the discussed name?

How about a KMC Blog forum?

davie thats all good when youre comparing someone who's got no posts (almost) to yerss who's got thousands of posts (nearly a million 😱 )
but how about if you were comparing someone like you and backfire, who, at the moment, practically have the same amount of posts 😬
we could say you because you have more posts
or backfire cause he's been here longer 😬

if we're to choose you because youve got the most posts, its hardly fair to say youre more inportant than BF because of that!

I' m not in favour of it. I' m afraid it will turn into a second OTF.
