Any problems? Reviews have called the PS3 version buggy.

sometimes the vats animations get all weird. like me swinging the bat through the person body. or shotting past hi head and it still hititng. but that rarely happens.

those are the only problems i've had so far

Just a few more hours before Gamestop opens up and the game is mine!

My weekend is booked. mmm

I enjoy the vats... especially with the larger weapons. 😈

Finally!

Here I' am at work staring at the fallout 3 lunch box just counting the minutes till I clock out and go straight home and play this bad boy!

Gawd! This is torture. I can't stop looking at it! Must play...MUST PLAY!!!!

The 360 version is buggy too.

I got an arcade 360 just to play this and GoW2. I couldn't miss these 2 games. Frankly this game is awesome. I don't know if it is the intro which is engrossing or the world...well its both.

Just got it today, I just got out of the Vault and I'm standing in front of Moira Brown... she seems kinda ditsy, but besides that the game is really interesting.

do you prefer the vats or real time. i personally use the vats more often i only use the realtime shooting or attacks when im out of AP

Real time. Always seems to be easier to kill people then with VATS.

Love this game. Can hardly stop playing it.

So many different outcomes...I keep reloading the game just to see what happens if I choose a different dialogue optioncrazy

I took the atom bomb part off Mister Burke....then blew his head off, and scored good karma. w00t

are there any citys with people that are all pretty well off and wealthy

I think the closest you will get to that is in Rivet City, but the only reason they are so safe is because they are living on a ship in the middle of the Patomic.

However, I haven't seen all the cities yet.

neither have I the map looks so small but it takes to so long to get places.

I am now pondering nuking the town.

My reaction to the first hours of this game.

This does feel like Oblivion indeed...but NOT identical...similar but not the same.

I love the voice of Liam Neeson in this game. His voice feels like a father figure. He has that "Qui-Gon" tone in his voice but after hearing the recording he left it feels as if he is going to pull a "Ra's Al Ghul" somewhere the down the line...haha! this game is soooooo good! (running sentence..sorry!)

What is soooo cool about this game are the responses! I can be a TOTAL A-HOLE and people will still talk to me! Hahahaha! which btw is so remininscent of KOTOR. Despite my desire to be a total jerk in this game I opted to play the nice caring angelic character. So I'm gaining good Karma.

Oh, and whats the point of the G.O.A.T? I became a Chaplin but...I didn't do any services. Odd...anywhoo...I'm about to get out of the vault and into the wastelands....Ooohhh!!!!! I can't wait to blast things away.

Final notes:

Great controls! I love the combat system! The music is just right!

Get ready for some!

KICK ASS!!!!!!

I didn't complete the GOAT. I cheated my way out of it rofl.

I agree about Liam Neeson's voice. It adds a nice touch. His acting plus the beginning of my life(literally) as the character and growing up in the vault was a great way to inmerse people into the story.

One thing I goofed was on killing the Overseer. I wanted him to live but when the fight broke out with the guards I struck him and he came at me. I want to spared his life...oh well, maybe next time.

Which version do you play?
PC, PS3 or 360?

I did that too, I just made a new game in case something happens with Amata later on.

Its hard running around the wasteland, there doesnt seem to be any indication of how strong an enemy is. I found a Big Boy nuke, havent used it yet though 😈

Anyone get to the (blank) in Springvale High school yet?

Incredible game indeed, been playing for the whole day straight without even the slightest twinge of boredom, ive covered a fair few quests, am level 9 and am an evil character, Nuke Megaton ftw! after doing all teh quests and murdering the people for their belongings 🙂

and love the "Bloody mess" perk, being a melee character (80 melee skill) running around with a supped up sledge hammer and smashing the cr@p out of anyone is hilarious, especially in VATS.

Also does anyone know if theres a flashlight or something in the game? some areas can be a little dark for me...
