Has anyone found any cool loot or anything lying around? I think the game randomizes stuff, at one save point I found 3 Ghouls standing by a fire, I died a little later on and reloaded, and instead of the Ghouls there was just a dead body with a laser gun.
Also, is there any indication of what level enemies/critters are?
Oh, and shotguns are AWESOME! So many heads have been blown off....😈
I fought a huge rad scorpion, oh boy these things are tough, if you face one hopefully you're near a big rock that you can jump on which allows you to easily pick it off without reprisals.
Found the family and completed the quest, I then went back and killed the leader, he has a cool sword called the shishkabob it's basically a fire sword that works great on super mutants make sure to go back and speak to lucy before you turn on him though, he also give you the ability to gain 20 health from blood packs... well as long as you complete the quest.

I think it is also.
One of the best qualities of this game is the layout of the world. Walking in Oblivion was really annoying after awhile, but in this game, you walking towards Megaton and then I spend 3 hours exploring ruins of houses for some ammo, or find a little hamlet.
There's always things to explore in this game. One of the best things about it and its not boring at all.
Yeh theres a medical one in the vault, Ive found a strength one inside the house of the sheriff in Megaton

You might already figure this out.
But if you go to Rivat City before talking to Moriarty about your father, its a pretty big spoiler if you talk to Doctor Li. It must be a glitch in the scripting of the game.
I talked to her and she basically was saying all this stuff, and I was like "what the ****".
Just dont talk to her unless you already talked to Moriarty and did some other story based missions.

Not sure if its a glitch or not, I remember an interview with one of the developers who said you could finish the game in a few hours if you knew what to look for. So its probably a shortcut past the 'grinding' mission quests or something.

If you do that before finishing GNS quest, as a reward Three Dog gives you a weapon catche location, that's what happened to me anyway.
So yeah talk to Dr. Li then talk to three Dog...finish the GNS quest, and you'll get a weapon location when you talk to three dog again

ermm because it tells you a location has been added to you're map, you also get a note about it....so ummm yes it does, like it does with any other location mentioned in the game that has to be found.
It's a substitute from three dog when he finds out you know where you're dad is, he still wants to repay you.
