My friend did that too, he wasn't pleased. Skipped like 3 quests. Had to start over.

You actually have the chance to go back to the vault one last time...later on in the game. mmm

😈

btw-If you donate 100 caps to the church you get Karma. Not bad..

I did that with the church in Rivet City

If you want Karma and you still have a home in Megaton just keep asking your robot butler to give you purified water. There are two homeless guys that I've found in the game, one outside of Megaton, and the other outside of Rivet city. Keep giving them the purifed water for a karma boost. If you killed the homeless men or they somehow died forget everything that I said.

Oh and did anyone find the Prototype Medical Power Armor? I just found it... it talks to you when you put it on, and it has more armor points than any other armor that I've worn to date... It's DR was at 34 when I found it, as opposed to the 30 that I got with the Tesla Armor. Only thing here is in order to get your hands on this baby you need to be strong enough to wade through a few Deathclaws.
It auto heals your crippled limbs.

ermm because it tells you a location has been added to you're map, you also get a note about it....so ummm yes it does, like it does with any other location mentioned in the game that has to be found.

It's a substitute from three dog when he finds out you know where you're dad is, he still wants to repay you.

the note doesnt tell me where. and nothing popped up on the screen that i saw.

Yeah i realised while playing today, the note does actually tell you, it's a place near paradise falls, it doesn't tell you that it's near there just the name H(something) hideout. mmm

As for the main story, i just finished it, what an epic final mission.

Whereabouts do you find the armor?

The City, lonely something I think, or Old something, down the sewers, ive gained it but the armor from fort constantine is better imo, the T-1b w/e its called.

However Ive not been able to repair it, it starts at an incredible 50 DR, unfortuntatley ive not found a way of reapiring it, since now its only 45, which is great but its going to get lower and lower and I fear it breaking.

Does anyone know someone in the game who has a high repair skill who could repair it for me? preferly max 100, but if there is not one, the next highest repairer would be nice.

Just to note, when you get to the final mission of the main quest, whatever you do, Don't save when you enter the final area/chamber, once you go in you can't come out, and once you finish the main quest the game ends, so if you want to continue playing as the character you have now, don't save inside the final chamber, just allow it to autosave when you enter the building, as you will be allowed to leave...i lost my guy today because of it.

Sucks major bawls

I do believe the T51-b is truly unique. You can only repair it through a vendor. Your best bet is to invest in the caravans through Canterbury Commons. Then the traveling merchants will be able to repair up to 80% or so.

is the ending any good?

Just beat it last night. The ending is decent. Nothing amazing.

how many are there that you know of?

Several. I think 5 or so. Maybe more.

I heard there is a ton of endings.

Anyways, the story isnt really what makes me so enthralled with the game. It's the world. It's so creepy and fascinating. Just love walking towards Rivet City and passed through a town with a very suspect group of families. Even though it wasnt a quest, I wanted to figure what was happening with that group.

Finished it and then walked to Rivet City, well, didnt really notice that I passed a huge Nuka Cola factory which I visit in a other quest. Unlike Oblivion and Mass Effect, the side missions and the little tiny ones are really cool.

Im in the town with the fire ants, is this a quest or what? If so, who is the quest giver?

And how do I get into the radio station? I got up to Friendly Station, or whatever its called, do I have to go through the underground station to get there?

Also, how do you affect the ending? Does it come down to a couple of dialogue choices in the end, or does your whole journey affect it?

This game has so much cool crap in it crazy I love finding random scavengers, selling them my loot, using the money to repair my weapons, then blowing them away and taking my loot and money back anyway 😈 I went up to Tenpenny, saw what a nutjob he was, then blew his head off. Also wiped out the Children of the Atom worshippers, they are just a bunch of idiots ermm

ah Yes, thot so, I just did exactley what you said, puts them up to 43 DR and the helmet to 9, think thats the max for the other armor is it not? not bad, shame I cannot get its maximum again, that was incredible protection but 43 without any negative debuffs on the armor is a good enough reward

Everything you do in a way, since its based on a combination of choices especially in late game, combined with your overall Karma level (good, evil, neutral etc)

1) The fire ants are indeed a quest, i was approached by a child who asked me to help find there father, then i was instructed to find and destroy the fire ants nest...the child found me at that canteen area, just outside of grayditch.

2) Yes you have to take the metro to get to GNR.

As for the ending, i got a pretty sad one...like Backfire it wasn't thrilling really.

There's over 200 endings.

I dont think they count as 'unique' endings though, its more 'Oh in this game you killed Megaton's sheriff, and this game you didn't, so technically you played the game differently'.

The games tells you to shoot the antennas (sp?) it gets them confuse. Better use the sniper rifle or the hunting rifle. Using the shotgun or the .38 sucks.
