Give the creators of the remarkable laughing fish story the credit they deserve. Loooong before BTAS was The classic run of DETECTIVE COMICS by Steve Englehart, Marshall Rogers & Terry Austin. Specifically “The Laughing Fish!” and “The Sign of the Joker!” from #475 and 476.

It was the JLA of the future with the only original member being Superman. There was new version of Green Lanthern. Warhawk, and Aquagirl. It was a two part episode where some alien sucking thing took over Superman's mind and turned him against the Justice League. They send the face huggers back to there planet and Batman leaves the Justice League by the end of the second episode.

other than the look of the joker I didnt think it was too bad,who do you suppose that chief of police is,what happened to commissioner gordon? 😕 bruce waynes voice sucks.should have brought back kevin.there is no other batman voice other than kevin conroy.just like the new spiderman show was stupid to make a new spiderman show without chris barnes doing the voice,there is no other spidey voice that is awesome like chris barnes,same with kevin conroy as bruce wayne.this guys voice acting is lame.thought the arin effects were pretty good though.something I dont understand is why is bruce waynes mansion a buiding you drive into instead of being built on a hill like its suppose to,that made no sense,could YOU figure that one out? 🙄they should have just kept making more BATMAN THE ANIMATED TV SERIES episodes if they wanted to make more.like someone else mentioned,why fix something that not broken? 🙄 oh well,Im not near as dissapointed with it as I am with the new spiderman show.in every spiderman cartoon that has ever been made,I was dissapointed with it in one way or another and they always found a way to screw it up and keeping it from being an awesome cartoon show,but I still enjoyed it since it had SOME positives about it and could sit through them,not so with the new one which has no positves about it.But this batman cartoon at least has some positves in it,and i can at least sit through it.but it wont be a magical cartoon show like BATMAN TAS no doubt.
I suppose Batman TAS spoiled us,
I am a Spider fan, not as big as a Bat fan no less. But Spiderman is ok.
The early part of the cartoons were ok, but once Spiderman started having six arms and stuff like that, I quit watching it. It got too out of hand.
Now BATMAN TAS, it started off weak, but by the mid season, it found its heart and soul, I have a few problems with the early Joker shows, with excpect maybe Christmas with the Joker.
But When Joker's Favor came out, and the cameo in Fear of Victory. It started getting better,
Shows like Deep Freeze, Laughing Fish, Fear of Victory, Two Face part 1 and 2, Feet of Clay, I mean man they just blew me away, it just got better and better.
But it was not to last, Most of the writers went to cover the new Superman cartoon, and Batman was halted for a while.
But than Superman and Batman team up in Worlds finest, Which is not great, I had problems with the New Joker look, but it was "OK".
IT was nice to see Batman and Supes team up vs LEx and Joker.
Than JLA came, and the best Joker design ever appear in Injustice for all. JLA was just as good as the Batman show.
Than the Batman show up. I wish they would take lesson's from BATMAN TAS, are the art people getting lazy now?? Because they think just becuase it says BATMAN, we watch it. Lets teach them a lesson. evey one. Boycott the Batman lol.

You know what the funny thing about all of this is?
The same person who took over for Chris Barnes in Spider-Man Unlimited is the same person who took over Kevin Conroy's Batman in the new cartoon now. Rino Romano
