When the Predator reached got that alien claw, he actually got it out of his belt or something, cuz I heard like a popping sound, I thought the blood was preserved somehow (like it was pressurized somehow at one end).
The PG 13 wasn't supposed to happen but hey it did, so stop crying about it and wait for the Directors cut!
I can't wait for that DVD, cuz I got the Aliens director's cut and it ruled.
I saw the Predator and Alien movies more then 20 times each, and I can still watch them for fun. I already saw AvP twice and I think I will watch it many times more through out the years to come. It's that entertaining.
LoL, thats great!
Yeah, Im sure they did alot more Battle Scenes and cussing and more gorey and bloody scenes they purposely left out for later marketing. Such as... The Directors Cut, Rated R! I really hope theyll give us the full force... not just that popcorn movie for the kiddies.
I like the Scene in Predator 2 when it pans over the Trophy Wall and shows the Alien skull real fast, thats so great.
I like the part in the forums, where you stop saying popcorn kiddie movie. This wasn't some kiddie movie, it was as mature as any of the other movies. Simply because it didn't have oodles of blood and swearing doesn't make it a kids movie. Blood is used for disgust, and the director wasn't aiming to disgust you, he was trying to use fear more then disgust. Didn't you see the fox, " making of the movie " special ?
Uhh... Ok...
And it was a freggin Popcorn movie for the Kiddies. It was nothing more than the two creatures with SOME blood, and the F word.
Yes I did see the making of it, and the ylied, Fox makes the final cut, it wasnt there choice to make it pg-13.
Any movies that in the past, a Child cant see normally, then they make a movie a child can see based off those characters the Child could never see originally, Is considered a POPCORN MOVIE, FOR THE KIDDIES. Do you get where im going with that now? Understand?
Its like making Jurassic park without the dinosaurs.
Well, i wouldnt go as far as kiddies, i mean what the fu*ck, Kid's arent going to go to this movie in the masses. It is for the more mature audience followers. It was a fan film, This is the greateness of the movie it's gotten made because fans kept writing their request's Well someone answered.i mean this cat Anderson, ditched his resident evil franchise so he could direct AvP. It wasnt meant for the kiddies, by no means. It is infact meant for us the fans, it maybe a fun ride to take your kids to, but, I mean honoestley you cannot say that this is a movie for the kiddies, because it was made through the fans voice. Sorry man this movie is infact a fan flick . These are few and far between
I know that much, But I look upon anything Children ca nfreely get into as a Popcorn fun movie.
Of course kids will be attracted to the show. It has to gorey monsters fighting each other, and in the previews it looks action packed, so I call it a kiddie movie cause I saw more than 10 little kids when I went to see it the third time in the theatre, and they all gasped when she said Fu*ck.
Well better empty then full of kids hoping arround. All they do is scream and dont' pay enough attention to the movie! Ahhhhh the horror! I wish I had a red button just to shut them all up, put them on a remote mute, yeah that would be grandiose. And yes this is a fan flik, I agree, but I also understand the agony of little kiddies goin to see it. See Japanese ppl don't have these kind of problems, they just don't care. They show the kids blood in early stages of their life, throughout anime. I know that the american versions of DBZ don't have blood, but the japanese do. I don't know when did the world become so paranoyed that even the subject of death becomes taboo.
Why do kids wanna see Alien vs Predator? don't they know that they r scary and discusting? I was truly scared when I saw Alien for the first time, and Aliens too. I was young and back then these movies were rated as SF/horror movie. I ended up watching it with my younger brother and my mom, lol.

actually no, he was told not to come the F*ck back to resident evil cuz he ignored what the fans wanted.... characters from the games. This new guy looks like he actually has a clue.
Also the only "fan" that anderson seemed to listen to in this one was himself. We wanted lots of fight scenes, we got one.... we wanted a future setting, so they could maybe have the marines in there and whatnot, we got an aztec pyramid in antarctica. Yes the plot was somewhat creative, but a lot of it was rediculous and you can tell they obviously did no research on the aztecs (i mean, october 10th being 10/10???? Yeah, thats great when the aztecs used a DIFFERENT CALENDER!!!!) sure, thats just a little detail, and you cant expect a movie to be flawless. Point still stands that fans wanted it based on the comic or game, not something straight out of left field...
If you dont remember, the translator was deciphering what the Aztec calendar's said into American as best he could.
And yes, Most everyone did want to see stuff from the Comic books and more from the Game then just the Predalien baby, And *Cringes in fear* The real live Bishop instead of a Robot in the future! oh my god!
Regardless, he followed some of the fan suggestions, but this is a major motion picture, you have to go by what people are telling you up above, not FANS that actually PAY to see the picture like us.
I mean what ever man. You can groan all you want about your video game's. Yeah it would have been supremly bad ass to see some marines , and that is what the movie was missing. However, he still managed to give a great god damn orginal story. Even if it got hacked and slashed without his say so. He even admits, as a film maker he is happy with the film, but, as a fan he is pissed off twords the final cut. If you want to see your imaginary urge of the fans to see the video game on screen. Then support the movie and you will get a sequal to where you can have our badd ass sequal with marines. Fans all over aliens Vs predator universe were physched about the film, and appreciated the attempt. Again i am saying this. If we would have gotten a video game, or comic version, then there would have been no originality to it, theire also would have no room for the 65 million dollar budget to allow a casting of marines, with equptment, and time to take out to focus on the marines characters, not to mention more money for the Cgi of there vehicles, which would have looked nastily fake. Then the aliesn would all be CGI, and we would they would have enough money left over for one single predator suit. It wouldnt have worked. Anderson worked with the money he had, the time he had, the matireal of the origins, the requests of the fans, and his own vision. the guy did everything possible. you can wait for the Dvd directors cut if you want, but i enjoy it for what it is now. There will be no sequal . Ever, because the studios butchard the flick, not anderson.
The movie will make about 70 million and then tank. This is a complete failure at the box office. Now it may make it back over seas, and with DvD sales, but Our hopes of ever seeing the day when marines can battle aliens, predators, and aliens in the same movie is crushed because people like you spit on what you have been given.
As for resident evil, NO, he was going to direct the sequal, but did indeed leave to take the helm of AvP. This is why he still has a possible future to make a return if the franchise does well with the sequal. the studio's were very happy with what Anderson did. Especially with the budget he had.
