Alien vs predator.

Yeah, but i would have to believe it would be for a story as vast as the games and comics, especially in a day and age like today where it is cheaper to film digitally. you might be right though. However 65 mill is very low for a movie like this.

If he had a 100 mil budget we would of had a very memorable movie, allthough I hope it makes it at the box office in Europe. I'm not too sure of it but I have my hopes up. it's a pity cuz I would off loved a sequel.

I'm pretty sure there will be a sequel just look at these stats so far

Domestic: $64,218,548 94.5%
+ Overseas: $3,748,544 5.5%
= Worldwide: $67,967,092

After only two weeks and a half.

The humans in this movie should have been Arnold Swartzenagger aka "The Governator" and Sigourney Weaver.

😱 Wow I would pay all the money in the world to see that one.

I wouldnt, that would be terrible. FIrst of all cuz ripley never saw an alien until, what most fans are guessing now anyway, 20 to 30 years later (based on Bishop III's appearance in Alien 3, which takes place 56 years after Alien).

That, and it would ruin comic lore, as Dutch (arnold's char) has been missing ever since he got on that helicopter...

Yeah, it wouldnt be correct, Because the Predator films are set in modern time, and the alien films were anywhere between 50 to 150 years into the future... I dont know where heard this but somewhere I did hear its set like 130 years in the future.

i dont think it could be 100 years..... cuz bishop I died in AvP, set in 2004, then there was Alien, which came 56 or so years before Alien 3. Alien 3 had Bishop III.... so either they cloned him every time after he grew old and died, or the Alien takes place in about 25 years into the future

Yeah, they did clone him and use him as a Android, after all, He WAS the creator of Weyland, only makes sense to clone the dead creator in android form.
All the bishops are androids, that one in Alien 3 was an android, if you look at his ear it was all bent otu and had wires on it after the guy hit him with a pole in alien 3 at the end.

oh, i havent watched the original in a while. I'm pretty sure in the director's cut he is human... cuz i know he had blood running all down his face...

Thats messed up... He musta been a clone... Or either the blood you saw was the white android blood, not red blood.
Cause he died in AvP which is what... 100 years before aliens and stuff, so, he has to be a clone then.

Yes he had blood runnin down, but the area behind his left ear I think was deformed and u could clearly see that he was an android. He was talkin to her with the back of his head slit open.

I don't know when the first Weyland was made, but I saw him in Aliens for the first time. That was 50 years later from the first movie. She slept for that long in stasis. One more puzzle, wasn't her cat supposed to be inceminated after the first Alien movie?

inceminated??? use simpler words and im SURE i can get an answer for you, lol. I'm only in high school after all, and my vocabulary isn't the best. That, and im too lazy to look up the meaning of the word.

Amm, I'm not sure if I spelled it right maybe that is why u can't recognize it, lol. MAybe its Insaminated. The word vastly used to say when a spore gets to the place where its supposed to develop (gettin someone pregnant, or insemination) Well it can be used for plants, animals, humans, etc. Sorry for the hubbab, bub 🙂.

well, i never heard about the cat getting a chestburster in it.... in alien 3 a dog got one (though it was originally a bull...)

What if the physical appearance of weyland wasnt to be taken so serious, but rather as a throw back to the alien flicks? I mean it was also a good way to let people who dont pay to much attention know who this guy is, and what significance he plays in the future of the alien.

no, i think that anderson screws a lot of stuff up, but i doubt he would go as far as to just through weyland in there if it was completely the wrong time... i think he was trying to give us a perspective on when the alien movies take place....

We already hace a perspective on when the alien movies take place. I'm not sure, this could be a reach, but i thought it was around the time when we have the technology of deep space capabilities.

I seriously dont think there was any significant reason that anderson chose to put weyland's character in the movie other than to have a connection with the other films.

I am also waiting to see if any of the sub plots Anderson claims there to be in AvP that diddnt make the final cut. Revolve around Weyland infact knowing what was waiting for them in the pyramid. they focused many times on him being asked if he knew what was going on, or what these things are. the camera shifts into an emotion angle (technical term) style, which usually means forshadowing.

A good pic of a pred-alien.

Cool.
