HAHA! That was a rant worthy of Stewie (from Family Guy). Reminds me of the time that little girl called him the weakest link and he went off on her for like a minute straight.
Ah Stewie, a great American if there ever was one.
Dean> You still haven’t told me why i should believe a guy (David Icke) who gets messages from alien “Illuminati-Reptilians”. Yes, I do dismiss nonsense like that, until someone can show me some credible proof. I do not have to prove he’s wrong, you’re the one who says Icke is right – well – prove that he is.
“ive never read any of his book.”
Ohh… I… see…. 😆
“but simply because it is different
to what they have been programmed and conditioned to believe.”
Hm, so because I don’t browse conspiracy-central 24/7 and believe aliens exist on Bellatrax (sic), that aliens kidnap hill-billies and experiment on our cows – I have been programmed?
“Hm!” (Morpheus, Matrix in virtual dojo)
What do you mean, Santa doesn’t exist? Prove it!
“and if english isnt your first language then go on a forum where they speak your danish language.”
Why? Because you can’t spell? 😄
Ah, that was MUCH better! Now…
Did we reach a conclusion regarding the US? Or can we safely agree that it is neither Heaven nor Hell on Earth?
Or – does anyone live in a country they do NOT like?
Well it's possible for a someone living in the UK to get an accurate depiction of the States than it is for someone in the States to get an accurate depiction of the UK. Even if we haven't visited (for the record I have). Purely because growing up, 90% of what all British children see is American stuff. On TV, toys, games etc. There's more news about WORLDWIDE goings on because there isn't enough news in our country alone to make news. So we have to broadcast other country's news also. Hence why it wouldn't seem like we get much knowledge as your country is big enough to just broadcast USA only news.
If you don't get what I'm saying then don't worry.

Oh I'm not saying generally. But like, in the more trustworthy areas of the news, the parts that are factuall (Although not many really) it can sometimes give an accurate-ish depiction. Albeit accurately broad if you will.
For example, a man here is more likely to know about the "state" of America than you are of England. Due to our media. I only ever watch TV for a couple of shows now. So can't vouch for it.

No defaintly not. It is also not as grand as everyone says. America is another country with freedoms that are fleeting, just like countries all over the world. Of course great things happen, but when bad things happen there on a larger scale because America is a huge country with a melting pot of cultures. The bad thing is that America puts foriegn cultures over Americans more times than not
