America: The Greatest Country In The World Or The Closest Thing To Hell On Earth

RR, its all too easy to blame the "people" for ruining America. Its not a new thought and its not correct. Its the "bad people" who ruin it. We live in a system where the rich and powerful all too often cast their morals away for special interests, money, whatever. That kinda crap is not exclusive to America either, it happens in just about every country with a decent financial status and an elitist-corporate-political system. I, for one, will not take the blame for my countries failings when my voice largely goes unheard...except in forums like this. I try to do whats right, be nice to my fellow man, and make the area around me a positive (if sarcastic) place to be. The system will have to crumble from the inside (which I think it is in the process of doing) before the 'people' can work to make it better.

I view it as the only current super-power, that is, a country with monetary and military power to wreck a lot of havoc so to speak.
