I concur wholeheartedly. Anakin sees the old "Sebastian Shaw Anakin" when he removes Vader's mask. Then miraculously the young Anakin shows up in the Ewok village, and Luke doesn't even bat an eye. (And let's not forget that Anakin was in fact GOOD when he died at the end of ROTJ, so yes he WOULD appear as old Anakin in ghost form).

On the lighter side, though, maybe when Anakin dies in the Death Star, Lucas had a digitized version of his voice come in and say:

"...tell your sister, you were riiiiight. Uh, and by the way, in a little while you'll see me again, but I'll be a young virile pretty boy ghost! Boooyah!"

And BTW boys, I beg to differ here, just because I am cool with the change at the end of ROTJ doesnt mean that I like all the changes NOR am I stupid...I just have a different opinion, which last time I checked was still allowed. 😛

I watched RotJ in the cinema back in '83
I thought the final moments with Vader unmasked were pure film magic.
but....
Cut to Endor & we see his ghost standing grinning like a patient on meds in the forest.
I have always felt, right up until now, that Vader should not have been such an affable man, even if he did turn back to the light side of the force, it was too tidy an end.

now armed with our knowledge of the prequels we can see a different Darth Vader
I think the new clip shows Vader's mixed emotions;
He is no longer grinning but is happier than he has been for a long time, he is redeemed and the evil he served is destroyed.
he can look upon his children, but and this is the important part.....
he destroyed their mother, his wife, and he cannot come to terms with that, even as a ghost.

so for me Hayden down playing Shaw's leer makes sense.

Sorry your bumbed about the changes, I personaly don't mind all that much, at least until I see the finished product. Too bad you did'nt get to see Episode 4. I really want to know what happened to that film. But, at any rate, is it possible show the clip in the rancor scene when luke puts the bone in the monster's mouth, or is it still to dark? That shot was the most fake looking during the whole sequence. Or did it not change at all?

for the peeps who really want 2 see this movie as fast as possible just get bittorent if you dunno what it is just do a google search on it and it should be able 2 help you out only hopefully when some1 does decide 2 get this 1 i reallly hope you dont have dial up connection you gotta have fast connection bit useless 2 get this 1 if you have crappy speeds the file its self on bt is about 1.5GB luckily i didnt have 2 download this 1 cause my monthly datalimit of 50GB is almost exeeded 🙁
