Then what has already been mentioned, Anakin died in ROTJ not in AOTC so ROTJ anakin should be the ghost.
Putting something from the prequels, which is outside story, in the originals. Yaiks! That ruins it, especialy in a great film like ROTJ, that being my favourite film.

Anakin was good again when he died. His ghost should reflect THAT age.

Look at the Original pic of Sebastian Shaw as a ghost in RotJ. If the ghost thing was as simple as "what a jedi looks like when he dies", he'd have NO hair and mangled scars on his face and head. Think about it. It was ALWAYS Lucas's vision to have the ghost be Anakin when he died/went to the dark side. When he had made RotJ, who knew that that Anakin would be played by young Hayden Christenson?
I don't mind the change, I had always held the belief that Ghost Anakin was a pre darth vader image. Now its solidified.

It doesn't matter; he died on the light side of the force as an old man. You don't see Ewan McGregar (sp) replacing Alec Guiniess. There's no CG Yoda. Don't try to fix what isn't broken.

If Sebastian Shaw had been a famous actor along the lines of Sean Connery or someone then Lucas would have kept him in.

What I'm saying is that the Anakin ghost in the original RotJ IS Anakin before he turns to the dark side, thats why he has hair, and no scars. Thats what GL originally was protraying. Now that the prequels have actually been made, he has to mantain his ORIGINAL vision of a pre darth vader ghost.
