Episode III official title- Revenge of the Sith

it took my breath away when I saw title revealed on starwars website now that must mean that sith will dominate in episode3 for may force be with you all.

I think he named it that because sith have been waiting along time to get revenge on the jedi because in ep1 darth maul said soon we will have revenge there's a hint for yah.

I was hoping for Return of the Sith. It would have been a nice homage to Ep 6's title, and it would have made more sense.

Rise of the Sith would have been nice to.

if you dont like the title then dont post anything on this thread. if you dont like the Star Wars Pre-Trilogy then dont buy them or go see episode 3.

Hey, don't get me wrong, I LOVE Star Wars. It's just that compared to the OT, the prequels have been a major disappointment. I'll still see Ep. III, no matter how bad a title it has.

George Lucas Is giving episode 3 all his got and so far GREAT TITLE, GREAT FIGHTS AND GREAT STORY i cant wait. GL it looks like you've got the star wars vib back again, Its good to have you back...

To me it's the best title of all the prequels, but in french that doesn't sound very well : Star Wars Episode III "La vengeance des Sith"; i think it's that, but i wonder if Sith is a singular or a plural word in this title, I would say plural but I'm not sure. Is it only the revenge of Darth Sidious ?

I think its okay....its too much revealing, I liked the phantom menace, there we didn't really know what was going on, and in Attack of the clones as for me......I thought that the clones was the bad guys...but wrong...then now EpIII Revenge of the sith...its revealing too much.....but is okay

Spearhead, regardless of what you say you are simply going to be wrong. Whilst the Sith emasculated themselves with internecine struggle, Maul's line in TPM "At last we shall reveal ourselves to the Jedi; at last we shall have our revenge." makes it totally canonical that the Jedi were responsible for the Sith's 'final' defeat.

Anyway, it's not a surprise name, but of many of the predicted names, RotS IS one that fits the 50s Flash Gordon feel.

the name is perfectly fitting... definitly in the line of star wars, great wink to ROTJ... menacing and all ... I love the name, now hopefully the movie won't disappoint 😉

Too revealing??? Whats to reveal? We already know how the movie ends, the exciting part will be seeing how it gets there.
