Think of it this way. The symbiote can enhance ones powers or strengths 40 times. When someone is under great stress they are able to do amazing things like lift a six ton rock off some body. When Brock is in a fight his symbiote could just give him an adrenalin rush to increase his strenght since it is able to control his bodily functions. By doing this he is able to lift a few tons times 40. This way he is able to match superman, hulk, and juggernaut for short periods of times. This is most likely how he is able to go up agaist these heavy hitters and come out on top. It that locial enough for you. Think about it 40 times five to six tons in 100 to 120 tons. That is 100 class strength for limitted periods. In the past the comics said the costume never increased Spider-Man's strenght because it never felt the need too. Spider-Man already had amazing strength but think of how strong he would have been if it did?

hey man..I "debated" with him like crazy but the fact is the kid makes shit up and lies about things I've never said... that along with his off topic tangents and the fact that when I did give him long thought out posts like I did for you in the cyber ninja thread and all I got in return were two sentences that basically equated to "nu-uh, you're a fanboy" well I just don't feel he's worth my time...
a great number of people who actually debate against him come to realize this...it's not just us two...

in all fairness... superman was recovering from a setback that occured in the superman comics and was reduced to 50% of his strength... probably even less... while venom didn't beat an all out supes it is a testement to how badass venom can be...and to the fact that (as I suspected) superman isn't quite as impressive when he lacks his strength/durability...

Venom has shown to be able to handle decent amounts of damage, but not over a lengthy amount of time(99% of people see the madness as P.I.S & C.I.S combined.).
The point is, Venom really can't do anything, Jug can.

actually venom later made juggy run away like a little girl the final time they threw down and that was without help from the madness virus...
also venom CAN do damage to juggernaught in a big big way if he can pull juggernaught's helmet off or sever the bolts of it...I just don't think that's likely to happen..but yes..there is a small chance he could win.
