I HATE PORN STAR AND I HATE JAMES BOND PLAYED BY A PORN STAR [/B]

I don't think so, i live in Australia and he has only done tv and stage work. Before he became big!

Thats the exact same thing I told him but he won't admit hes wrong.

X-Men" star Hugh Jackman experienced an unconventional introduction to the movie industry -- he starred in porn films.

The Australian screen star refuses to regret his past in the adult industry, because actors need to grab whatever opportunities they're offered when starting out.

He says, "That was my early career. I did a couple of porn movies. We all start somewhere."

What is your obsession with creating these lies about Hugh being a porn star?

Hes already being considered. We won't know for sure who Bond will be until its finally announced.

Look, on 16-04-04, he said: "I started the rumor, I mean, who wouldn`t want to play James Bond?" when signing autographs to fans in California.
Then his agent said: "Hugh has never officially been approached to play the role of James Bond"

tell me please which source you use to claim he's being considered

Hugh Jackman
Last Seen: “Van Helsing”
Spy Game: To his advantage, Jackman’s already faced the enormous pressures of carrying a franchise, portraying an icon and satisfying skeptical fans with his universally praised turn as Wolverine, “The X-Men’s” troubled anti-hero. He’s got the meanest scowl this side of Clint Eastwood and a smile mischievous enough to set hearts aflutter. He’s done straight action, campy action, comedy and romance. Hell, he’s even high-kicked his way to a Tony Award. 007 could use the flexibility.
Verdict: The name’s Bond, James Bond.

from what I see the only thing they have done is name all the people that have been rumored to take over and judge for themselves if they are suited

Bloom can't be one, since miramax doesn't have the rights for the young bond, Law never acted on the rumors, Grant doesn't even need to be thought of, (don't know butler never even heard of him), McGregor is too busy he said and was only selected cause he won a poll on the net, (Gruffudd?), Firth was selected cause of one movie by fans, Clive and Bana already said they didn't want to play it and Jackman started the rumors himself

This is an official news web site that means its NOT written by fans or amatures. Here is the top sentence in the news story: Eric Bana, Heath Ledger are two actors being considered for 007. Keyword CONSIDERED thats what you wanted me to prove right? http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5580675/

Heres another one here too http://www.cnn.com/2004/SHOWBIZ/Movies/07/28/brosnan.bond.ap/

Speculation surrounds Brits Clive Owen, Ioan Gruffudd, Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Gerard Butler, Jude Law and Ewan McGregor, as well as Aussies Hugh Jackman, Heath Ledger and Eric Bana.

you made it sound as they (the Broccolis) are considering Jackman as Bond, but up to now it's nothing but a false rumor, started by Jackman himself

him getting mentioned on the news is as valid as Bloom playing the young Bond

Your source is from a forum 😆

While mines are from two news web sites MSNBC and CNN.

from the two sources you gave, MSNBC only went on about who can possibly follow him up... and as said in other threads, people like Clive Owen and Bana already said they didn't want to be it... so, why did they include them? cause they have no idea about it and had it from hearsay

CNN only quickly mentions those, but it doesn't say "hey, that dude WILL be the next one!" or something. As long as there is nothing more solid about him, Jackman is out as the only source who claims he is in or in the running is himself

Excuse me but I was never trying to prove to you he will be the next James Bond because nobody can do that yet since its not known yet. 😉 You only told me to tell you my source for saying he was being considered. Once again your source is only a message board. Also Bana has not said he does not want to play Bond.

Heres another news web site http://www.cbc.ca/story/arts/national/2004/07/29/Arts/bond040729.html

The 21st Bond adventure is scheduled to start production next year, and any number of names have been mentioned as possible successors to Brosnan. Topping the list are Clive Owen, Ewan McGregor, Jude Law and Hugh Jackman.

sorry, then I misunderstood you there 🙂

though three days ago, Bana said: "I've said like a million times I wouldn't do it. It's never, ever, ever been something we've had a discussion about. I haven't got a bloody clue where this all started."

and zap2it.com apperently wrote a month before that that Bana said: "no, I wouldn't be a Bond, no."

that's more than enough for me to consider him out

Hold on let me prove myself wrong http://news.xinhuanet.com/english/2004-08/06/content_1725134.htm
BEIJING, Aug. 6 (Xinhuanet) -- Hulk star Eric Bana has dismissed reports he has signed a deal to replace Pierce Brosnan as James Bond as “crazy.”

The 35-year-old Australian actor was at the center of a media frenzy last week when sources said producer Barbara Broccoli had offered Bana the part, Shenzhen Daily reported Friday.

But he says he does not even want the coveted role and has no idea where the story has come from.

Bana fumes: “I’ve said like a million times I wouldn’t do it. It’s never, ever, ever been something we’ve had a discussion about.” Enditem

😄 But this also means that if Hugh is still interested he could be a main contender now that Bana is gone.

you really went far to prove yourself wrong there 😛

I'm not sure they are keen to pick an australian... y'know... Lazenby wasn't that a success

I don't know why Bana would reject such a role since it could very well almost guarantee him a BIG future in film. Its difficult to predict MGM's next move right now and the actors being considered. Since Bana has decided he does not want to play Bond I'm not sure whether or not Hugh would either if approached so like I said its unpredictable right now.

but think of it ... with Bond you're gonna be him for a year or 10-15... and what after that? You'll always be "that guy that played Bond", I mean... I don't think Lazenby or Dalton got big roles after wards... Moore (overhere that is) is only seen once every blue moon in a really minor role. Only Sean up till now made enough movies to stop him being remembered constantly as "the one who played bond"

so, Bana after The Hulk and Troy is afraid he'll be stereotyped after a bond career making his filmcareer filled with 7 movies, 5 of them being bond I guess

Not everything is gloomy remember he still has the sequels to The Hulk besides Bond that is if he would have taken the role I mean. Not everyone has headed to a dead end after Bond remember there is Sean Connery who has done dozens of films besides the Bond films. Hugh and Bana are both in similar situations if they were to play the role because each person has other comic book sequels other than Bond.

yeah, but up till now only Sean didn't had the dead end... that is what perhaps freightens people into rejecting the part

Yeah but when you have other film sequels like the Hulk besides James Bond I just don't get the reasoning for a decision like that.
