but it is true that Bush sounds stupid sometimes when he speaks.

For one ive grown up in California and anyone from the South sounds stupid to me its just the way they talk (i went to Georgia a few years ago everyone sounds retarded there)
..and before you say he is stupid because he gets some words wrong in his speeches try taking a Speech Class. I did its one of the hardest things i have ever done. I had to memorize a 2 page paper in a week and present it in front of about 90 people. (some people made big mistakes in there speeches) Bush gets maybe 2 days to memorize some of his speeches and there super long and he dose it all the time. Your not going to find someone that doesn't make a mistake and say something stupid every now and then. (idk how smart they are) THink about how many of use have made stupid typing mistakes here and it changed what we said entirely

Why is it that these Bush threads are soooo damn repetitive? He cheated on the election, WMD, He's an idiot, He opposes gay marriages.....is like the same discussion over and over again. There is like 4 threads about him here in GDF and is the same arguments again and again! Supporters defend him and Bush Haters condemn him.

Dude, do some research. He's been caught drunk driving on three occasions. That is NOT excusable by "everybody gets wasted in college". Getting drunk, yes, getting in a car and putting everybody's lives in danger, no.

In September, he said ''alcohol was beginning to compete for my affections for my wife and my family.''.......... I think we should commend the man for being able to stop a habit because he realized it was affecting the life he was having with his family. It takes a strong man to overcome something like this. Personally i think i rather have a leader that has really human problems rather then someone who has never lived the life of a normal person

Maynard is a great singer and a genius with his creativity in terms of music. I have seen Tool twice and A Perfect Circle once and the shows, especially Tool, are top notch.

Unfortunately, during the last APC show he spouted off on his political views and almost ruined the show. There is no need for that during a musical performance regardless of what your political views are.

And especially when a majority of the people in the audience would cheer if you told them something stupid like we should attack the North Pole, for example.

When will musicians learn to shut their mouths at concerts. It's one thing if if he was speaking his mind at a press conference or something, but I don't pay $100+ dollars to go to a concert just to hear some jerk off musician's policital views.

Probably the greatest achievement a modern politican can get is to unify is party. It is hideously difficult! And both major American parties are very broad umbrellas covering a huge range of varying interests and agendas.
