These religious zealots are going out of hells way to do everything in their power to prevent gay folks from adopting children.
Mind you these gay couples usually get stuck with very disturbed, handicapped children. The children no one wants. But they dont care.
And they love and care for them as no one could.
These gay couples are usually wealthy, well educated and have the necessary means to ensure that these children grow up in a safe, nurturing environment.
These religious nuts would prefer it that these children remained in orphanages and abusive over crowded foster homes.

What happens when those gay guys raise the child to be a fruit? Ultimately resulting in them suffering through years of ridicule and humiliation at school because they are either raised as little fruits or because they have gay parents?

how is it the same as if they were raised by two straight parents. Who will be the mother figure, that nourishes and comforts the child. And who will be the father figure, that tells you that you need to be tough, and encourages you to do things like play sports.
And i don't care who you are or where you were raised, sports are a necessity in a young child's development. It teaches team work and helps as a means of being social. Learning to make friends on a youth sports team will help them make friends later in life.
Also, what happens when the child grows up and realizes what our society thinks of gays? What happens if that child grows up hating their parents and what they are?

This may come as a shock to you but many gay people are extremely active in sports and outdoors stuff.
In many gay relationships there's usually a "man" and "woman".
I highly doubt that a child who was raised in a loving family will grow up the hate the very people that raised, nurtured him.
There have been extensive studies done on children of same sex couples.
A staggering proportion of these children are extremely well rounded, well educated and emotionally healthy.
The greatest stigma or negativity encountered by these children is not their home environment, but the ignorant members of society that look down upon them.
That's our fault, not theres.

wow i was here at 3 in the morning and this just filled up with pages since then... one thing i noticed that i dont like, people keep saying that all christians think its wrong and homos will burn in hell ect...I'M CHRISTIAN! i dont believe that the bible is true i think its all stories with meanings behind it and i dont have anything against Gays, lesbians whatever.....hey I've even experianced with other girls myself. So can people please stop calling all christians 'bible thumpers' because not all christians here are thinking its wrong. And no thats doesnt make me any less christian then some of you.

Well like I said Tex, I DO agree with you. Those were just some questions I was wondering.
Most of my points, like the sports and the male/female part of the relationship were merely filler.
The one point I had the biggest problem with was what people would think in society and at school, where image is EVERYTHING.
Is it feasible to believe that through enough ridicule in their social lives, these kids grow up hating their parents because of what they are?
I saw this on Oxygen one day when I was sick from school. My mom was watching some show about a girl raised by 2 female lesbians. It was actually pretty good for a show on Oxygen.
